Mr. Haha Jones is a Dj and producer from Mexico City. His style is oriented towards funky house and latin rhythms. His influences go all the way from 70's funk and 90's hip hop to Chicago house, cumbia and dembow.
He's been spinning records since 2009 and producing tracks for a diversity of projects such as Dj Videocentro (LoFi House), Mr. Babadook (dark progressive psytrance) and Erëbor (forest psytrance).

for this anniversary I was able to win a good friend, a person who has an excellent feeling for beautiful sounds and deep beats. I feel honored that https://soundcloud.com/rafaele_castiglione has created the 100th mix.  Thank You, Rafaele - Thanks to all the other 99 seasidetrip-artists and THANKY YOU and YOU and YOU. 

And please take it easy that I write less to him and I left a few more personal words about the Seasidetrip - as my beloved grandpa was telling me: »you know, little roland(son) to sailing is dead but the sailor has it done. cause a sailor has to what a sailor has to do. cause it has to do with passion and if you have passion you are the richest person of the world. It’s a hard job, but the moments on the deck when the wind blows in your face, when you hear the waves and you see the vastness of the sea, these moments will give you more than all the money in the world.« and so I devote a great part of my being and doing, my beloved grandparents. 

It started with a mix about emotions & music by the sea and that's the point till today. at the beginning captain https://soundcloud.com/rolandson did not think it would be 100mixes. this all (the mix-series, the netlabel - releases and showcases) is a result of a momentary feeling in 2012. music and to be at the ocean, It helped me through a hard time and I decided spontaneously to make it audible. in first case for me at second for friends. and yeah, some good friends liked the idea, became part of it, created their version and helped to understand some things.
And so, the Seasidetrip - Mixseries emerged and grew up and grew and brought me together with many lovely human beings. I am VERY THANKFUL for every journey, every listener and follower, for every comment and interaction … and I am grateful for everything that has come out of it - on negative or in a positive way - everything is part of that trip.

Yes, I think; for many of you, the Seasidetrip is about music and to bring wonderful sounds to your ears and into your hearts. and it’s good that it is what it is. but please, think by that: it’s not about: how many plays & likes each mix generates - it’s about: which story each mix tells - it’s all about the passion and not about a hype or a hip music direction. And in that, for me it is still a very personal project and journey - and that’s why it is so important to me, to knew each artist on deck and to stay in touch as much as i can. and if you agree with, you are highly WELCOME …

This is a collection of some extraordinary songs which accompanied me on my journey through the beautiful land of the lovely Khmer people. I created this mixtape, because I want to commemorate this special music from a glory, almost forgotten era before the big red tragedy happened and destroyed everything. I will always remember the smiling faces of my beloved friends from Cambodia, when putting this old music on. 
All these songs survived the decades in a very bad quality, I didn’t find better versions :-( 
Enjoy the sun, the jungle and the great optimism, like the silence before the storm.

Since eight years ago the genuine northeastern Brazilian Raphael Nascimento (@raphael-sn) has been exploring Sao Paulo's unique and interesting features. In this plateau megalopolis, between restless comings and goings, the Voodoohop's bastard puppy, event producer and DJ has started his journey playing in order to save line budget, covering shortage, cornering and being the official DJ of the afters. At that point he didn't give up at the first hurdle, in fact, this led him to adopt the name of 'perrengue' (Brazilian slang for hardship, difficulty, suffering, trouble) over the the last two years.

This 134th edition fits like a glove throughout his own aesthetic: from nowhere, in the improvisation and rush. Thus, Raphael shows off himself as a fearless sampler lover DJ, and with some micrograms of perspective-enhancers, cups of mimosas, and the mess of the room after a long weekend perrengue delivered a hybrid DJ set which is definitely worth the hassle.

Hey Hey, thanks for the interesting questions I will try to respond as honest as I can 😊 

➢To start you off tell us what song puts you both in a good mood when you wake up in the morning? 

There are too many, let’s say: Frivolous – You Gotta Sing (for years this song makes me smile all the time) 

➢You are known to have down some exceptional edits of classic tunes. Tell us briefly some of your music inspirations and the process of adding your Waxwood sauce to take certain tracks to another level? 

When we talk about music, it is always intuitive. You listen and it goes directly to your heart, avoiding your head – where all this analysis and stuff happens, and you know immediately  that’s the song! Then you just begin to play around and see what happens..  

➢2020 has been a difficult year for the music scene, how has it changed within your hometown and what do you think will be different in 2021? 

For me like for many people 2020 was the year to go deeper to find who you truly are. At some point let go of the illusions of how this reality works and to find meaningful things around you. It wasn’t a lot of gigging but it was a lot of digging if you know what I mean! 

➢Lastly, regarding this mix you have done for us, can you tell us a little bit of your thought process behind choosing the tracks you chose? 

I tried to feel and see this weird time as one picture with all the ups and downs as life is and to tell this story…
