When will I, in good faith to myself, finally speak up on my feelings?

This is a question I ask myself regularly. As someone who has a tendency to hide their feelings, it gets to the point where I have to question, is this becoming detrimental? When did this tendency start, and how can I break it? A habit which I thought would save myself the trouble of conflict and confrontation, actually causes more chaos in the end, whether that be internal or external. And this is an experience that I believe many can relate to. 

We all owe it to ourselves. Sometimes sparing someone else’s feelings or ego at the cost of your own happiness isn’t worth it. Silencing the voice inside only to keep the peace, will cause that voice to grow eventually. And its impact will manifest in ways other than how it originally developed.
