This song is about Lake Pleasant in the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York (USA). We visit almost every year for summer vacation. Sometimes, when the weather is just right, it really is the most beautiful place. I just with they had a Marriot ;-))

Lately I have been reading very sad news about young kids committing suicide due to relentless bullying. Their crime: being "different". I think this is so sad. People should be able to live their own life, their own way, so long as it does not hurt anyone else.  Anyway, that is what I was thinking about when I wrote this song.

My style of music is Contemporary Folk and Singer-Songwriter. The decade of music that most influenced my music taste is the 70's. Most influenced by Neil Young.  

I like to write songs from the heart. I want to express how I feel about past experiences, about current events, and just about anything else that really moves me in some meaningful way.  I hope that you "feel" what my songs are about too when you listen to them.
