Dance Mekanik is born from the vibrant underground of Ghent and Brussels, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of electronic music culture. Dance Mekanik curates a bold, cutting-edge soundscape—celebrating the raw, hypnotic pulse of techno, electro, industrial, and experimental electronic genres. Every event becomes a living lab for new frequencies, a sanctuary for sound exploration, and a gateway to altered perception.
Rooted in inclusivity and collaboration, Dance Mekanik cultivates a space where differences dissolve into rhythm. It brings together dancers, creators, and seekers into one shared experience—one collective body in motion. Inspired by the ancient power of dance as a ritual of transformation, Dance Mekanik approaches the dancefloor as a sacred site—a portal for inner discovery. The energy of movement becomes a tool for presence, elevation, and collective awakening. By aligning music with symbolic intention, the collective invites its audience to not just dance—but to remember, transcend, and awaken.
Dance Mekanik’s emblem—a radiant Egyptian pyramid honoring Betelgeuse, the red supergiant star of the Orion constellation—is no coincidence. It’s a tribute to cosmic knowledge, ancient wisdom, and the deep interconnection between earth and stars. The logo reflects the collective’s ethos: bridging primal energy with galactic consciousness, grounding the rave in myth, mystery, and meaning.

Jakob carel was born in 1980, and grew up in Tel Aviv, during the electronic revolution of the mid-90s, he was strongly influenced by "the chemical brothers", and by techno DJ's such as -Jeff Mills, Sven vath, dave clarck, and more... 
since the year 2002 ,that influence has pushed him to start creating his unique music, sounds and rhythm.

Since 1998 I made and released lots of sound art, music, and noise, and wrote and published lots of poetry. You can find most of it online, in record stores, and in bookstores. On May 28 2025 I returned to my roots, and started working low profile on new folk music, like in 1998. Inspired by Syd Barrett, Robert Calvert, Chris Karrer, Peter Hammill, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Richard Hell, Daniel Johnston, Roky Erickson,  Dave Bixby, Jandek, James Douglas Morrison, jazz, modern poetry, and painting I set on a trip that knows no end.
