This skillset is especially celebrated in his work with Donato Dozzy as Voices from the Lake. 

But even if you’re not familiar with his work, you’ve almost certainly listened to a record he had a hand in. A mastering engineer for over a decade, his studio Enisslab has over 400 credits on Discogs, including landmark albums by Deepchord, Pauline Oliveros, Abdulla Rashim, DJ Nobu, Atom TM, Mike Parker, Caterina Barbieri, and of course, his own work. In this conversation, Neel and I get deep on mastering and the evolution of his technical craft, his ears, and his artistry, as well as how each of his creative fields inform one another.

DYNOHUNTER is the tribal techno project of DJ, producer, and saxophonist Clark Smith, blending ancient rhythms with futuristic soundscapes. Layering syncopated percussion, hypnotic grooves, and searing synths over deep rolling basslines, DYNOHUNTER conjures sonic rituals that blur the line between primal instinct and dance floor surrender. 

This mix features tracks from DYNOHUNTER's latest EP 'Maelstrom' and second release on his own label Channel 11 Records some unreleased original productions in addition to fresh tracks from some of his favorite producers and friends.

Occam's Razor is BLKSMITH's @blksmithofc debut single from his upcoming EP 'Revenant' out 12.12. Deep, shadowed industrial techno driven by propulsive percussion and hypnotic rhythmic structures. Serpentine synth sequences simmer with current, while cavernous low-end pressure chugs through an eerie tonal haze, rising with slow burning tension. A dancefloor séance, a summoning. This is techno channeled from the subconscious, sharpened in darkness, carried by groove.
