For all the overnight security and maintenance staff at Bishop's University that tolerated our unmerited presence in their practice rooms during the mid 80s.   And for the exceedingly considerate piano sales staff at Eaton's Department Store (Montreal) in the latter 80's that provided impromptu lessons and access to instruments for those of us who couldn't afford them.

Et pour le personnel extrêmement prévenant des vendeurs de pianos du grand magasin Eaton (Montréal) dans les années 80, qui offrait des cours impromptus et un accès aux instruments à ceux d'entre nous qui n'en avaient pas les moyens.

Body Over Bone

Even today, modern politicians are educated by what's been dubbed a "manual of statecraft", penned by the so-called Father of Modern Political Philosophy and Political Science, the 16th century Venetian, Niccolò Machiavelli. 

In Machiavelli's book, The Prince, they are taught that no matter how evil the means that they employ are, to achieve victory, the ends will justify those means. Then as the victors, all they have to do is to rewrite the history, to present themselves as the good guys.

 This is the end created by your teachings. 
 We now have nation pitted against nation,
 Because the way, the means, IS the destination.
