Cartesia is a new project that couples the emotion of traditional classical with the rich textures of modern day electronica, a concept that has gained excitement from a list of festival promoters, media, radio and music enthusiasts around the world. 
The message behind this project outlines the importance of individual empowerment, education on real world issues we as a species are facing and why indigenous, humanitarian, political and environmental issues are so important to each of us. 
In the short time this project has existed, Cartesian Sphere’s was invited to perform at a Ted Talk (Tedx StKilda), Ormond Hall (Melbourne Music Week), several of Australia’s most forward thinking festivals (Rainbow Serpent, Subsonic & MEMF) and have also supported UK music legend Giles Peterson (BBC Radio 1) on his last Australian tour.

I make a blend of Modular Electronica with tough House Grooves, borrowing energy from techno and nostalgia from the early 90's Detroit scene. 

I am proud of my records I have made with Uk techno legend Carl Cox, USA acid house pioneer Dj Pierre and rock & roll hall of fame artist Nile Rodgers.

Although Stipé’s first contact with a DJ booth happened while he was staying in Australia where, influenced by Drum’n’Bass, he had his first success at Sydney’s “Sugar Reef Club“, it was upon his return to native Germany that his DJ career seriously kicked off. After returning from Down Under, he started organizing own events resulting in the DJ-Projects, together with DJ colleagues Robert Dietz, Christian Feigl and Sebastian Werle, in various Clubs in Frankfurt am Main.
The next big step happened when Stipé became a resident at Frankfurt’s international Club “Monza“. This was a great opportunity for Stipé’s DJ skills to emerge, while sharing the booth with artists like Ricardo Villalobos, M.A.N.D.Y. or DJ T.
In 2007 Stipé met Sis, another artist that would have a positive impact on his career (Stipé is part of the Cocolino Crew). Connecting musically, the two would later collaborate on the 1st release from Mitu Recordings.
Mitu was founded by Stipé in 2009 and, supported by friends and artists like SIS, Marko Roca, Volkan Akin and Sercan. Mitu is all about hot, cutting edge music and setting up a fresh attitude towards the dance scene. Mitu's first releases have received massive support from such heavyweights as Luciano and Ricardo Villalobos.
