MIKAYA (Micah Swabb) is an Ecstatic Dance DJ and facilitator for cathartic dance events. MIKAYA’s mixes inspire meditation through movement in ways that widen the scope of one's self-awareness and self-expression. For booking MIKAYA (Micah Swabb) please email micahswabb@pm.me. 

These musical journeys begin peacefully, build momentum and contrast, and then land softly with resolution and grace. MIKAYA also produces mash-ups and mixes in various genres. He teaches people how to make world class ecstatic dance mixes both from his home in Asheville, NC and virtually online.

Micah Swabb is also a regenerative real estate agent and eco-flipper in the Asheville, NC area. If you'd like help buying, selling or rehabbing homes or raw land please reach out. http://soundcloud.com/Spinforth started his weekly* Scour for the http://soundcloud.com/Ghettofunk website back in January 2011, assisted by fellow Hong Kong Ping Ponger's Morphosis and Fat Harry. His quest was to seek out the choicest cuts from the freshest, often unheard of, producers ploughing their trade on SoundCloud. The Scour soon blossomed into a bit of a phenomenon, unearthing some of the finest producers to not yet have their tracks out in the DJ scene!

With incredible numbers of people checking out the weekly* posts, it seemed a logical next step to set up a brand new digital label, showcasing, and officially releasing, the creamiest of the crop of The Scour. Boom! http://soundcloud.com/scourrecords was born!

Expect all Scour traditions to be upheld throughout the initial releases; selection process, BPM order, making up of new words, a touch of nepotism from time to time, it's all here. The first first release is an eight tracker - It was only mean't to be five - see what we mean about upholding all Scour traditions :)

Extra Medium is a Bristol born producer that has been taking on the influences of the city’s underground music scene and fusing it with Jazz music. 

His love for Jazz and obscure sampling has led him to fuse the rolling sounds of drum and bass and the big shuffling energy of UK Garage. Creating a unique and big take on bass driven dance music. 


His take on dance music has led him to create his own record label Thick Boy Records. A record label dedicated to the sounds of UK Garage, House and Drum and bass whilst keeping thick, fresh and funky.
