What will always be fashionable? Probably travelling, good food, and… a thermometer. Yes, an ordinary thermometer! When it becomes your main accessory for a few days, romantic dates under the Pyrenean sky are out of the question. Not even romance can help here — but fever medicine can. Luckily, taking care of a loved one is much easier than doing nothing.

— I feel awful… completely destroyed, and my throat — it’s like sandpaper!
— Hang in there, love. You’ll feel better soon.
— I told you we should’ve stayed in Amsterdam. Getting sick at the start of the tour sucks.
— Do you think a hot coffee and a croissant might make things a little better?
— Yay! Oh… right. I’m sick. Cough, cough.

Sharpening his sense of smell, Plate set off in search of something delicious. Pastry shops shimmered invitingly with their glass displays until one finally captivated him with its sheer abundance. “Bonjour, monsieur!” — a cheerful voice chirped from behind the counter. Care for every detail was in the air as a perfect reminder that even in the most unexpected moments you can brighten someone’s day.
