The friends were lying side by side, immersed in the magic of the night sky. With each sip of wine, the stars grew brighter, mesmerising them more and more. The Milky Way, like a sparkling river, crossed the entire sky, creating a sense of infinity. Fireflies fluttered around, and their soft, flickering light made things particularly enchanting and mysterious.

— Can you believe that in 1990, Voyager 1 took a picture of our planet called "The Pale Blue Dot"? Everyone we know and love has lived on this little speck in the vastness of space. It makes you realise how small we are in the universe.
— That sounds beautiful and a little sad, Plate.
— But there's more to it. On board, it's carrying a Golden Record of Earth music, from Bach to Chuck Berry. What a message for the aliens!
— Yeah. Music will indeed tell them more about us than words can.

Adventurer and in continuous search, Johann ZU has been shaped by his time as a musician in rock and pop bands and by his university training in recording, mastering, and post production of audio. He spent many years recording, mixing, and mastering for bands, musicians, and electronic producers, developing the technical skills to bring music to life.
He fell in love with electronic music during a transformative period in Argentina, which led him to travel the world, exploring different styles and ultimately discovering a passion for house, deep, and minimal house. Later, he embraced vinyl, finding in it a new instrument. Johann ZU’s mixes reflect what he feels in the present, capturing the essence of creating and expressing in the moment.

Female selectivity and male determination take them across Europe’s nightclubs, record shops, and creative spaces — all in search of that perfect moment the dance genre has to offer.
