My old mate Barry Noseworthy. Guy lived and breathed music like me, was fighting his own demons with alcohol, as was I at this point. Cubase 4? Integrated Yamaha N12 mixer.  Guitar Freshman by Dario Freshman (this inspired me to buy my own Freshman in 2014) guitars that sing in an open space.

I was still working to the first song recorded for free rule to vet the clients and gauge the work involved for further endeavours together in the studio.

I put him in the drum room about 12' x 15' wooden floor half paneled wood up the walls, a big mattress over the window. I had a Studio Projects B1 single pattern LDC on the vocal, 2 x AKG pencils 120 or 180 P's spaced on the guitar and a Soundlux R101 ribbon in the roomall running into the N12 and Cubase 4 .I had the drum room door open and a mic half way down the stairs at the toilet landing and another in the shower pointed at the top corner of tiles. 

An afternoon affair over a slab of Scotland's finest Tennents Lager I'm sure. It's just a drunken session from the mill late 2000's 7 or 8 I'm guessing, Barry's 40th am told, no idea what age he is now. But I hope you are well my friend. An unexpected tune that has an optimistic vibe released on New Year's Day.

This instrumental tune came about fast, in a spare afternoon during the second 'lockdown'. 

The next day Chris jammed along with it on guitar to see if he could come up anything that complimented it and found some old school bluesy sounding parts and some nice melodic parts that fitted nicely with a heavy processed sound using multiple effects.
