Chakra journey number 4. This one starts out pretty tough in the lower sections and takes a bit to find its feet. Both Vril and Luke Slater help form a discombobulated earthly realm at the front end of this mix. By the time we get to the invocation of Architectural's masterful synth workout in 2020 Disco Clash, tickling the Solar Plexus and inviting the Heart Centre into receivership mode, we launch into some seriously sublime upper frequency activity. Robert Babicz's take on Dan Corso's New World is out of this world and sits so sweetly between the Heart and Throat Centres, launching the mix into an extended exploration around the Throat centre before illuminating in indigo dayglo brilliance the intuitive centre of the Third Eye, courtesy of OPML favourite Joachim Spieth, and the brilliant Monoloc, whose retro The Untold Way is surely an under appreciated masterpiece. Svaorg's Birds hits the Crown note beautifully to end the journey.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind speaks about how we’ve been victimized and blindly follow the story of being a victim in our lives, but no matter the circumstances and what the world is telling us, we need to recreate ourselves each time and every time. In this specific introduction of mine, I want to refer in particular to one of the most meaningful, spiritually and psychologically significant albums for me, Human Design by Toki Fuko, released in 2021 on Lawless.

Description of my ritual ending and its musical reference:

Moon, Please Don't Go Away …. and the Moon dramatically turned red as it entered the “Umbra”, the darkest shadow of planet Earth. This celestial event forced the energies to shift. The Total Lunar Eclipse is followed by the emotional Reset and a closure of karmic cycles. The entire restoration process is completed by the soothing sounds of the ocean in 38.864508, 121.624216, becasue the lunar theater took place on the seashore in my mind.

“This set was recorded live 5-7pm, Saturday evening at Pe:rsona, 2025. The seemingly last dry-ish stretch and set of wild (weather) weekend, sunshowers made way for glistening droplets to  sparkle through the shade sails and lay foundation for me to weave between deeper percussive cuts and shiny crystalline daytime techno.”

Pjenné is a Naarm/Melbourne-based DJ, radio broadcaster, curator and label manager. Her musical identity is shaped by the expansive, psychedelic soundscapes of the southern bush, an influence that permeates her trance-inducing, progressive, and hypnotic selections.

Pjenné’s sets are characterised by deep-digging selections and an impeccable narrative craft, both of which are on full display in this masterfully executed recording. Tune in now for two hours of deep, lush afternoon techno daydreams.

Long-time resident of The Labyrinth (Japan, @mindgameslaby), Hiyoshi’s vivid, contemplative ambient mixes draw together musical elements from a diversity of sources, yet retain a rare purity of emotion and atmosphere.

With Patterns of Perception 33 Hiyoshi aims to capture the essence of his most affecting sets of the past year, including at Sound Garden, Labyrinth, and One party, while also paying respect to friends and artists who’ve mentored and supported him.

The result is a lucid, ethereal selection, a dance in the diffuse sunlight, on the surface of the lake, always hinting at the depths below.

Patterns of Perception 33 - Hiyoshi

Born in Invercargill, New Zealand and now based in Brisbane, Australia Olympic Pool Maintenance League (OPML) creates techno that feels sculpted—an evolving exploration of texture, rhythm and immersive atmospheres. Emerging from a visual-art background, OPML treats each track as a sonic installation, where hypnotic grooves meet delicate, shifting detail.
Recent milestones include DJ So’s set at the renowned Parallel Festival (July 2025), where he played OPML’s Lovely Light Show (Maintenance League Records), and DJ Yazi dropping Hearing (Unknown Territory Records) during Mindgames Balance at Hodaigi Campground (May 2025).
OPML’s discography spans international labels such as Mord (Bareknuckle Boxing Vols. 1–3, Herdersamt Box Set 34–40), Postdynamic (New Faces Vol. 1+2), Sunora (The Warp Order LP, Dawn Wind, Fook Yue Remixes), Occultech, and Brisbane’s Pocketmoth. A 2023 debut vinyl EP on Diffuse Reality featured remixes from Giorgio Gigli and Head Front Panel.
