SOMEDAY THE WEIGHT OF THIS YEAR ON MY LIFE WILL BE AN ALBUM FULL OF PAIN,... BUT, RIGHT NOW IT SEEMS LIKE I'M CENTRALLY LOCATED IN HELL

1987 WENT TO Nashville for a “short week” Music row to make the big time … wow … nobody listens in lawsuit land in those days. 1988 WENT TO NASHVILLE for 3 days (surely, I would crack this puzzle and become famous …) so many on benches in front of churches. Frustrated, didn’t sing publicly again basically for 25 years. (after all, where would a singer/song writer, make a name for himself in Karaoke land).
2010 discovered open mics (new world begins). WRITING SINCE …a lot! Had someone to produce me in limited acoustic style for a couple years…I think a few were damn good “Fields of Quiet Soil”. Had a lot of offers to write lyrics and/or sing for a lot of other artists here. (but no recording capability …let alone a decent computer for my own. TODAY, THINGS CHANGE …I’m here to make an impact (got 4 new ones under my belt recently) …plus some old ones you will not be disappointed listening to. Welcome old music fans and artists., potential serious collabs.

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors. I'm a musician from Halle (Saale, Germany). On this channel I upload everything that comes to my mind:
small pieces, improvisations, songs and soundtracks for movies. I hope you enjoy my content :)

In my early years I took piano lessons, regretfully I stopped them in my teens. I've always had a piano in the house and over the years have composed a number of songs (without words). What’s important to me is the melodic nature of the pieces and I wanted to share them with others. The origins of the music are probably influenced by my early classical lessons, Chopin and Schubert to name a couple. I love Liszt’s Hungarian and Rachmaninoff’s Russian styles but sadly my technical ability hampers the inclusion of their techniques.
Today’s home recording software allows many opportunities to develop compositions using other instruments to compliment the piano however, using the software has been a challenge, trying to get the “right” sound for the piano has been the most difficult part of the process. I’m slowly learning and will probably remix some of my current tracks as my experience grows.
Once I have recorded my heritage pieces, I plan to write a new selection of music predominantly piano but also experimenting with more or different instruments, watch this space!
