Inperspective Records, founded in 1997 has become one of the best loved and most respected leftfield D&B imprints. Over the years a number of now highly respected artists have produced some of the most groundbreaking music to be pressed onto vinyl (we say!).
Artists include: Earl Grey, Lynch Kingsley, Profane, Phuture T, Nic TVG, Breakage, Equinox, Fracture & Neptune, ASC, Survival, Infamy, Senses, Chris Inperspective, Sinistarr, NCQL, Andy Skopes, Polska, Alpha Omega, Pariah, Macc & dgoHn, Giles Appleton, Mutants & Kasious
Chris Inperspective also founded the Technicality night in 1999. The mindset was to represent the underrepresented in D&B and has been going strong ever since. They continue to hold events to this day. Not to be missed!

Being exposed to AST for the first time, it won't take long for you to realize that this gentleman is a thinking man's DJ. This drum and bass connoisseur stems from deep roots in the electronic music scene, drawing on early influences with reggae and dub and the energy of acid house. Hailing from Bedford, UK, this jack of all trade initially made his mark in the lyrical sciences under the pseudonym MC NYX. His quest for better music led him to start DJing in 1998, with his first appearance on Bedford College Radio. Soon, he was playing in Northampton, Coventry and London. 1998 was also the year he teamed up with Outrage leading to a radio show on www.drumandbassworldwide.co.uk.

Soon, it was on to bigger and better things, playing at notable clubs around Birmingham and London and surrounding areas. Also been brought into the inner circle of drum and bass … playing alongside Outrage and Digital in Berlin. He played a number of parties in support of Digital's Phoenix Rising LP tour. He also played on local radio stations supporting the local scene in his hometown Bedford. He was acting label manager for Backlash Records, which included hosting The Backlash Records Radio Show on Bassdrive on rotation with Outrage and his endeavors had earned him bookings as far away as Bangkok, Thailand. 

If anything can be said about AST, it is that his ability to share scholarly sets comprised of only the most innovative tunes sets him apart - educating the crowd and urging them to remove any mental block they may have regarding music. So step on to the dance-floor, and let yourself experience what kind of magic can happen with AST behind the decks.
