Born just prior to the early 90’s rise of drum & bass, producers Raphael and Garo have rooted their sound in the form, both as solo artists, and now collaboratively. Their combined passion for good vibes, and being able to share that with their fans was what defined their stage name FLOWIDUS, with both producers being quoted as saying “we want people to come on a journey with us”.
The duo have fused their individual styles to create their sound; one which encapsulates their shared love of driving bass lines and melodic dance floor drum & bass. 

Flowidus’ individual parts met at a drum & bass gig in Perth at the beginning of 2015. At the time, Raphael and Wolf were already on the rise as strong solo producers, but after working together on a few tracks, agreed that collectedly they were capable of even more. 

Born in Germany, and raised by his parents who were both successful singers throughout Europe, Garo has always been comfortable in the music industry. His childhood was spent around musicians and instruments, with the drums being one he was particularly drawn to. As he got older, living in Perth now, playing the drums to accompany his Bachelor of Music was a natural progression.

After completing his degree, Wolf began spending more time focusing his talents on producing drum & bass, under the name Spillage. He began releasing tracks on Technique Recordings, Fokuz (Influenza), Soul Deep Recordings, and Good Karma Music, as well as gaining support from BBC 1 Radio Play. Among his recent accomplishments, Garo's 2014 remix of Kate Kay Es “Once You Did” received over 500,000 views on YouTube, as well as having the honour of supporting international artists such as Delta Heavy, DJ Hype, Tantrum Desire, SIGMA, and Wilkinson.

Raphael’s accomplishments are equally as impressive, with one of his tracks on Good Karma Music making it’s way to number 7 on the Beatport Top 10 Drum and Bass Releases at the beginning of 2015, as well as supporting the likes of Wilkinson, Shockone, Brooke’s Brothers, Trei, Tali and Phetsta, under the name Dealt Fairly. 

Raphael, originally from New Zealand, attributes his successes to having a mind wealthy in culture, perseverance and dedication, as well as a pronounced passion for drum & bass. These traits have assisted him in the studio, resulting in a slew of fresh music releases and videos to match. Although living in Perth now, Raphael has enjoyed working with people from back home, and even featured on Tali’s latest album “Wolves”, remixing her single “Faster Than Sound”.

After releasing a few tracks together as Spillage & Dealt Fairly throughout 2015, it was towards the end of the year that they managed to grab the attention of Andy C’s legendary label RAM Records, and thus igniting the beginning of Flowidus.

A little bit about René LaVice

From the humble beginnings of finding out about Drum & Bass music via the late night broadcasts on Toronto’s College Radio stations (88.1FM & 89.5FM) while growing up, René has travelled worlds away from where he started. Flash forward a decade or so, René’s own productions are now hailed around the world as some of the genre’s most iconic and innovative records in electronic dance music. He’s flown worldwide performing shows and cultivating the sound of Drum & Bass as a true tastemaker and leader in the genre. 

As though coming full circle, René was approached by the BBC about creating his own specialist show on Radio 1, so in 2017, following in the footsteps of legendary former hosts Fabio & Grooverider, and Friction, René is now the Drum & Bass representative on the world’s biggest platform. 
 
As a producer, René LaVice’s sounds are unmistakable. Known for combining different styles and influences with his own sensibility, his music has a thumbprint which stands out in the mix. Nowhere could this be more evident than in his first breakthrough track ‘Headlock,’ which took the scene by storm and turned heads of tastemakers worldwide onto what would soon become one of dance music’s most exciting producers. Since then, René’s made a string of hits, such as The Calling ft. Ivy Mairi, a musical hybrid unlike any other which was A-Listed on Radio 1 for weeks and hit the billboard top 40 dance chart. 

Renowned for his remix track record and ability to turn a song upside down, he has remixed an impressive roster of artists such as Diplo, DJ Fresh, Craig David & The Prodigy, making him a highly sought after remix artist.  He released 3 albums on the illustrious Ram Records which earned him the respect of young fans and veteran DJ’s alike. 

Having the support of touring Drum & Bass royalty such as Andy C, Goldie & Randall combined with attention from Radio presenters and tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Mistajam, Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw, Greg James, and Scott Mills is like a dream to any young producer and René’s skills as a performer and a DJ have been consolidated thanks to touring all around the globe and turning even the most unlikely shows upside down. Known for crowdsurfing at his gigs, he may sound like a bit of 
an anomaly when it comes to dance music. The excitement he feels from his music is as captivating as it is infectious. Having performed shows at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Download, EDC, and world class venues like Brixton Academy, Fabric, and Alexandra Palace, René has evolved into one of the most exciting headlining acts in dance music. 

Now living in London, UK, one can only speculate where René LaVice’s journey through music will lead next.

Brendan Collins (P.K.A Futurebound) is one half of prestigious production duo Matrix & Futurebound, and founder/owner of Viper Recordings. Since its inception in 2004, Viper Recordings has become a powerhouse in the industry and responsible for releasing some of the biggest dancefloor hits of the past decade along with fresh artists across the globe.
 
Always at the forefront of breaking new talent, Viper has become renowned for finding some of the biggest producers in the scene, with artists such as: Sigma, ShockOne, Nero, Camo & Krooked, DC Breaks, Delta Heavy, Seven Lions, ShockOne, Metrik, and Fred V & Grafix all starting their careers on the UK-based label.
 
In 2005 Futurebound joined forces with Matrix producing the first Matrix & Futurebound release ‘Strength 2 Strength’. This first production by the duo would go on to cement the foundation for their future, with the pair going on to dominate the drum'n'bass scene worldwide with two studio albums, ‘Universal Truth’ (voted dance album of the year in numerous territories) and ‘Mystery Machine’, as well as countless singles & remixes. 
 
As a duo, Matrix & Futurebound have gained huge success with four UK Top 40 hits; ‘All I Know’, ‘Magnetic Eyes’, ‘Control’, and ‘Don’t Look Back’. ‘Control’ peaked at #7 in the UK Singles Charts and #2 in the UK Dance Charts - a feat accomplished by only an elite handful in the drum and bass scene.
 
Both artists have also enjoyed various individual successes over the years as owners of Metro Recordings & Viper, respectively. 
 
2020 has seen Futurebound collaborate with NCT & Liquicity on anthemic dnb single ‘The Feeling’ and now with Tom Cane for new single release ‘Dangerous’ on Viper.
 
‘Dangerous’ is set to become another classic for the genre, featuring the vocals of Tom Cane, who has achieved star-status in the scene. Vibrant and full of life, Futurebound packs the track full of his signature energy and captures the essence of the underground culture we hold so dear while still also appealing to the mainstream.

Undoubtedly one of NZ's finest DJ / Producers; TREi, has been a leader in the drum and bass scene 'downunder' since 2007. Along with a slew of producers coming from Australia and New Zealand including Pendulum, The Upbeats, ShockOne, State of Mind, Dose, Flowidus, Concord Dawn and Lee Mvtthews. TREi has made a name for himself with releases on prestigious labels such as: Viper Recordings, Technique, Commercial Suicide, Elevate, Device, Rampage, SOM Music and Samurai Music.

Hailing from Western Sydney, Viet-Aussie artist streetflicker has quickly established himself as a powerhouse producer and respected DJ in Australia’s drum & bass scene. Beyond his own artistry, he co-owns the prolific label onesevenfour, where he plays a key role in shaping and nurturing the next wave of Australian and New Zealand drum & bass talent.

Renowned for his high-octane performances, streetflicker commands dancefloors with electrifying energy and precision. His relentless drive and undeniable skill saw him crowned winner of the internationally acclaimed Your Shot DJ Competition, leading to performances at major global festivals including Chasing Summer. He has since shared stages with some of the scene’s biggest names: Andy C, Sub Focus, Culture Shock, Dimension, 1991, Metrik, Kanine, and more.

His productions continue to make waves worldwide, with tracks championed at iconic festivals such as Rampage and Tomorrowland, and supported by respected labels including Dark Machine Records, Riot Records, and YANA Music. Most recently, his collaboration “BUMP” with Loboski & Soldat peaked at No.3 on the Beatport Top 100 Drum & Bass Charts, while his track “ALALA” with riddo. was featured on UKF, further solidifying his position as one of the most exciting and forward-thinking talents in the scene today.
