It has been a busy year for Luka Sambe, starting with the release of his album, ‘The Fundamental Transcience of Everything’ in January and a series of high performing releases on All Day I Dream, Souksonic, Vapour and more. With a rich history in the scene, Luka is fast becoming (if not already) the leading Australian progressive artist of his generation whose talent is fully stated in this new EP on Sudbeat!

Opening with ‘Combina’ warm, spacey sonics sit on top the beat patiently waiting the rush. Picking up pace, layers of melodics and icy pad sweeps create a tensive energy which peaks at the main drop. ‘Pari’ starts deep and sparse, more thoughtful than it’s partner. Melancholic leads and wistful pads combine for an early floors grower that’ll enchant. Rounding out the trinity, ‘Vertiginous’ is a punchy cut with spiky sonics and playful energy. Bouncy bass and insistent percussion keeps things moving along at pace while gelatinous stabs ricochet around the room.

Weekend Heroes - Secret Society (Khen Late Night Remix) [PREVIEW]



The third instalment of the infamous 'Sudbeats' collection lands with 31 tracks, offering a trip into the different landscapes of underground dance music.
From deep early night beats to melodic uplifting crowd bangers, to straight rhythms for the harder floors, many of these fantastic tracks have been tested by label boss Hernan Cattaneo during the last year, and some of them are highly awaited.
The digital release will include all tracks, however, the triple CD is made of 3 discs: disc 1 mixed by Lonya, disc 2 mixed by Graziano Raffa, while disc 3 features all of the mp3s (full length versions).
And so with this being the third of the series, you can see a strong symbology and as you will see with the artwork, a triangle teas centre stage, and its a triple CD with the red, blue and green Sudbeat colors shining all over the package. Three really is the magic number here.

After last years hit remix of Lowbit owner Sonic Union and his collaboration with Bastards of Funk on 'The Firefly Dance' we immediately reached out to get him to do something on Lowbit and 'Off World' EP is the result. 

The eponymous 'Off World' is a deep and hypnotic track with heavy influences from Blade Runner with its stylish and moody melodic pads. The second track in the EP, 'Sound of Mind' has a much lighter vibe with its bouncier bassline, lush pads, and forward driving percussion.

Combining the modern studio techniques with the smooth feeling of 90’s Ambient and the
analogue grooves of 70’s Electronica, Paul Kardos brings a three-piece synth-driven
excursion that embodies the essence of Downtempo, Chill-Out and Cinematic music. These
tracks, in all their diversity, evoke Paul's infinite musical influences, bringing a unique blend of
contemporary and traditional Electronica with themes of nature. From the opening
thunderstorm sounds of “Monsoon”, it’s evident that something memorable is going on.
Kardos reveals a breathtaking, hypnotic atmosphere and rich audio palette, which slowly
elevates into a blissful meditative state. This release is Paul’s first appearance on Armadillo,
the prominent Easy Listening label led by Guy J. Hopefully there’s more to come!

The Alex O'Rion Alternative Mix illustrates a deeper side to the Dutchman’s production work with its head-shaking grooved bassline and syncopated hi-hat pattern. The central motif so prevalent in the first remix is stripped back to illustrate rippling delayed patterns alongside steam-powered white noise washes, while a cavernous glissando bassline adds depth and power post-breakdown to imposing effect.
