Canadian born @JasonHodgesTO first arrived in the house music scene in late 1991, taking on Toronto's underground party scene he developed his DJing skills on the decks with the likes of New York - New Jersey sounds. Hard-hitting beats with deep grooves became the signature
sound for Hodges - whether in the studio, on the dance floors; from local Toronto gigs, to the surrounding towns around Ontario and
across Canada, Hodges was growing and coming into his own.

Jason began releasing records with various Toronto labels such as JINXX RECORDS and 83 WEST getting his feet wet remixing and co-producing tracks with some of Canada's talents. After many years of training and development, Hodges returned to the scene with a new energy and a new plan. He continued to build his profile by remixing artists like , DJ Sneak,Kaskade on OM,Jully Black,Justin Timberlake,DJ Colette,DJ Heather,Derrick Carter, Music For Freaks,Classic Music Company,Diz and the list goes on.. promising a steady and bright future with the creation of Junction Style Music Toronto,Jason’s production company.

The name Jason Hodges represents the technical craft he pours into every production, with highly anticipated tracks being played and praised by the likes of DJ Sneak,Mark Farina,Oliver Dollar, DJ Heather, Derrick Carter among other eminent House Music Pioneers around the world.

Well I had the upmost honour of being asked to replace Chicago legend J-Dub for the Classics festival, held in Halifax every July.  Being a Canadian house music DJ, I have always been inspired by the event and the tight knit house community in Nova Scotia, so being asked to be on a lineup that includes Inland Knights, Natural Rhythm, J Paul Ghetto and more was definitely a highlight of my DJ career to date. 

Big thanks to Nick Nonsense for the invite and for everyone who was so kind in the chatroom throughout.  It was pure vibes!!

The one-hour show format chosen to allow enough time for the artist’s essence to shine through and for you, our Traxsource family to get a flavor of their sound, label and general vibe. Once a week. We feature another Canadian artist for Volume 148 of the series to kick off the new year, as we welcome Toronto's Sicario to SRS!!

Sicario has been rocking crowds from coast to coast for the last 20+ yrs. Sicario started out in the Drum & Bass seen back in the early 90's and continued to smash it everywhere he went. Until his 1st year of University, when he went and saw Hippe & Halo and then he was bitten again by the house bug. Over the years Sicario has played along side Jason Hodges, Hatiras, Flipside, Demuir to name a few and has always been consider a JACK MASTER. Sicario now is a part of Dirtylicious here in Toronto, and his Soulful Jackin style of House will sure to please and in the the Words of Sicario "KEEP BOUNCIN"
