There is electricity in the air, and you can feel an invisible magnetic field that is drawing both of you together both physically and spiritually. She becomes your single obsession and desire. You can’t get her off your mind. You can’t sleep. You can’t eat. Even drinking a bottle of whiskey hasn’t helped. You just need to be with her. Tell her that you can’t live without her and love her.

Most songs about break-ups, failed relationships and broken friendships are about despair, anger and grief. When I wrote "Goodbye Warrior", I decided to write about a courageous and understanding person, who realised that accusations don't make anything better. Forgiveness is the key. This song is about finding inner strength, and separate in friendship. Maybe we just chose the wrong type of relationship instead of the wrong person.

This song explores the journey of breaking ourselves down—shedding destructive behaviors, ideas, and darkness—hoping to be rebuilt anew. The imagery of the forge, the hammer, and the heat speaks to the intense pressure and pain that can prepare us for transformation. Yet, even as we are honest with ourselves and confront our weaknesses, we come to realize our own limitations. True change often requires more than internal struggle; it demands that we reach beyond ourselves, seeking help, support, or inspiration from outside sources. Only then can the process of rebuilding become truly possible.
