Call it futurestep. Call it deepstep. Call it autonomic. Call it whatever you wish, but one thing is for sure – Hidden Element hailing straight from Kiev, Ukraine fail to make their music disappoint. With a fresh take on electronic sounds ranging from breathtaking beatless layers to +/- 170 BPM heavy hitters, these two have been making waves in the industry for some time already, releasing on 22:22, Alphacut, Med School, Pinecone Moonshine and Translation – to name a few. But it is Absys Records that is the home for their full-length album entitled “Together”. The release is a collection of 13 amazing pieces of work, each hitting a slightly different tone, but making a wonderfully coherent whole.
 
An entity that is enjoyed best when all of its components are played together, as the title suggests. The album focuses in majority on a rather home-listening experience, with tracks like “Aura” or “The Night” setting the pace for a pleasant evening chill and boosting the laid-back mood even furth er with “Quite Place” or “Without You” - both infused with lovely vocals – that can serve well as modern-day lullabies. But there are als o more lively accents (“Long Way Home”, “Who Knows”), traces of live instr umentation (“The Next Day”), or ambient (“Bridge”). All in all, you get a fantastic cross-section of contemporary electronic music, a masterfully composed package of nothing but pure listening pleasure.

El Búho returns to Wonderwheel with the first taste of his new collaborative album "Ramas," co-produced with some of his favorite artists, friends and family around the world. "Because" is a song written by John Lennon (credited to Lennon–McCartney) and recorded by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on their 1969 album Abbey Road.

According to Lennon, the song's close musical resemblance to the first movement of Ludwig van Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata was no coincidence: "Yoko was playing Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata' on the piano ... I said, 'Can you play those chords backwards?', and wrote 'Because' around them. The lyrics speak for themselves ... No imagery, no obscure references."

French duo Pandhora worked with an original acapella track and recreated the whole piece around the vocals with modern sounds. Extending the track with instrumental parts, they are giving a tribute to the original with an outdoor festival dance in mind.

Deep Forest originally sampled this lullaby from the Solomon Islands in 1992.

The first release since 2010's 'Broken Clocks' EP, 'Weak Stomach' EP is a collection of shabby pulp scribbles from Zilla Rocca and his taillight chasers The Shadowboxers. For this assignment, his Wrecking Crew gin buddy Curly Castro (Man Bites Dog Records) and Chi-Town drum roller Alex Ludovico joined in-house card shark Blurry Drones for the knockout drops. Small Professor (Coalmine Records) and Has-Lo (Mello Music Group) took time away from fitting cement shoes to lend beats that hit your head like cheap wine.

Compiling legitimate liquor from previous Shadowboxers juke joints and Alex Ludovico's 'Winning/Losing' plus new cuts like a Beatles cover ("Maxwell's Silver Hammer), a posse cut in honor of Walter White ("We Got Fangs This Year"), an ode to NYC blade runners ("Blood on Blood Converse), and crippled romance molded around a stark Elliot Smith lineage ("Stay Clean Remix"), 'Weak Stomach' EP is a real sharp shooter, a precursor for the forthcoming LP 'No Vacation For Murder' (which features Roc Marciano, The Kid Daytona, Geechie Suede, Open Mike Eagle, and more).
