TiEs 
Singer - Self-taught musician - Songwriter - Musical Producer 


Born in, as he says "Favela Land", Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. TiEs is definitely a soul singer, although his passion for the many different cultures around the world made his music to sound completely out of the box. 

In Portugal already, in January, 2018, TiEs has recorded an EP for the documentary "Sounds Like Van Spirit", a project that talks about the street music in Europe over twenty five(25) countries. This EP was named "The Soul Of The Streets" and contained his performance in the streets, cover songs. Also, for this work, TiEs recorded two(2) original songs "So You" and "I Will Feel Free". That was definitely the kickstart of his musical career.

Currently TiEs is working in his first studio EP that will be named "The Streets Of A Golden Heart". He says that this five(5) track EP will show his wide R&B, Blues, Jazz and Rapping skills, along with his Brazilian-world originality without losing the soul in his voice.

Aut Records is a not-for-profit, cooperative record label dedicated to experimental and research music. We are trying to describe a musical environment that cannot be inscribed into a genre category, as well as distant from a particular musical language.

Our main goal is to promote projects concerning unusual sonorities. We are convinced that any positive result derives from a research off the beaten tracks, deviations from the mainstream, which is often a sterile environment if conceived as the only possible solution.

Basically, we offer what we, actually, appreciated while listening to it; further, we really enjoy the pleasure to make our productions available to anyone appreciating our work, that is as important as games are.

Clean Feed aims at recording innovative contemporary jazz projects that can make a difference, building a catalogue that will be internationally recognized by its quality and coherence.

Faira is the folk-experimental project of singer, songwriter and guitarist Sophia Spies (DE). In her melancholy songs, Spies reflects dreamlike and situational encounters with herself and the world, which she continues to symbolically weave through associative relationships. Through her understanding of songwriting, she creates a powerful imagery that finds its expression
through classical and playful arrangements on the guitar in combination with experimental lo-fi elements. Inspired by artists like Joanna Newsom, Leonard Cohen, Coco Rosie & Sufjan Stevens, Faira draws her very own, intimate version of folk. Her songs seem familiar and yet reassembled. The impulsive voice of the 29-year-old cologne based musician sounds remarkably somber and vulnerable at the same time.

In April 2020 Faira released her Album „The Talk“ together with her sister Nathalie Litzner (vocals, violin), Andrew Collberg (drums) and her brother Leonhard Spies (guitar, bass guitar). 
Only one year later, in May 2021 she is releasing her third album „Fireflies and Bats (Or a Predictable Series of Waltzes)“. In comparison to that last Indie-Folk production, this year’s album is reduced to Faira’s voice and guitar-playing only. That way it shows the musician from her most frail yet most powerful side.

Faira ist das Folk-Experimental Projekt von Sängerin, Texterin und Gitarristin Sophia Spies(DE). In ihren melancholisch getragenen Liedern reflektiert Spies traumartige und situativeBegegnungen mit sich selbst und der Welt, die sie durch assoziative Beziehungen sinnbildlich stets fortspinnt. Durch ihr Verständnis für Songwriting erzeugt sie eine starke Bildsprache, die durch
klassische und spielerische Arrangements an der Gitarre, in Kombination mit experimentellen Lo-Fi Elementen ihren Ausdruck findet. Inspiriert durch Künstler wie Joanna Newsom, Leonard Cohen, Coco Rosie und Sufjan Stevens zeichnet Faira ihre ganz eigene, intime Version von Folk. So wirken ihre Songs vertraut und doch wie neu zusammengesetzt. Die impulsive Stimme und die ungewöhnlichen Gesangharmonien der 29-Jährigen Wahlkölnerin klingen dabei so verletzlich wie düster zugleich.

Nachdem im April 2020 ihr erstes Studio-Album „The Talk“ erschien, auf dem neben ihrer Schwester Nathalie Litzner (Geige, Stimme) und Bruder Leonhard Spies (Gitarre, Bassgitarre) auch Andrew Collberg (Schlagzeug) vertreten ist, veröffentlicht Faira nur ein Jahr später, im Mai 2021 ihr drittes Album „Fireflies and Bats (Or a Predictable Series of Waltzes)“. Dieses ist im Vergleich zur letzten ungewöhnlichen Indie-Folk-Produktion, reduziert auf Fairas Stimme und Gitarrenspiel und zeigt die Musikerin dadurch von ihrer verletztlichsten und gleichsam stärksten Seite.
