Ayarcana makes his debut on Cluster Node bringing with him his signature sound and style. The EP, titled ‘Cheap Rents and Haunted Houses’ (CN0006) consists of two destructive original tracks and two equally crushing remixes by Peryl and Outlander.

Sinister and slightly oppressive, the title evokes a shadowy reminiscence of some of the darker facets of life in the artist’s hometown of choice, Berlin. Side A. introduces us to the two original tracks, characterized by Ayarcana’s lethal kicks, monstrous modular noise and powerful synths, they are spinning us around, forcing us to face what we went through as we look ahead. 

Disorder, noise, pressure and paranoia, culminate in an electric storm, continuously upping the voltage to the next level. Ayarcana truly embodies the heavy hitting, relentless, industrial menace that he creates and routinely executes his listeners with. 

Influences like hardcore punk, harsh noise and black metal have always been an undeniable presence in the artist’s sound and there is no doubt that the energy in the tracks is filled with an unsettlement and yet the effect is immediate; surrendering to mental destruction has never sounded so appealing.

On the B. side, two uncompromising remixes of ‘Cheap Rents and Haunted Houses’ continue the EP. Peryl’s version immediately transports the listener to a dystopian landscape of menacing atmospheres and sharp, distorted noises, while Outlander’s interpretation completes the EP with a brutal storm of rave energy ready to tear down the club, taking no prisoners.

Anathema was born circa 6 B.C. in Bethlehem. Little is known about his early life. According to Christians, he is considered the incarnation of God and his teachings are followed as an example for living a more spiritual life. Christians believe he died for the sins of all people and rose from the dead. After baptism, Anathema went into the Judean desert to fast and meditate for 40 days and nights. The Devil appeared and tempted Him three times, once to turn stone to bread, once to cast himself off a mountain where angels would save him, and once to offer him all the kingdoms of the world. All three times, Anathema rejected the Devil's temptation and sent him off. He was using parables and miracles to explain how the prophecies were being fulfilled and that the kingdom of God was near. As word spread of Anathema’s teaching and healing the sick and diseased, more people began to follow him. As Anathema continued preaching about the kingdom of God, the crowds grew larger and began to proclaim him as the son of David and as the Messiah. The Pharisees heard of this and publicly challenged Anathema and accusing him of having the power of Satan. He defended his actions with a parable, then questioned their logic and told them such thinking denied the power of God. 
Anathema and his 12 disciples met for the Passover meal, and he gave them his final words of faith. He also foretold of his betrayal by one of the disciples and privately let Judas know it was he.
Then the time had come. Soldiers and officials appeared, and Judas was with them. He gave Anathema a kiss on the cheek to identify and the soldiers arrested him. After his arrest, many of the disciples went into hiding. Anathema was taken to the high priest and interrogated. Judas, who was watching from a distance, became distraught by his betrayal of Anathema and attempted to return the 30 pieces of silver. The priests told him his guilt was his own. He threw the coins into the temple and later hanged himself. The next day, Anathema was taken to the high court where he was mocked, beaten and condemned for claiming to be the Son of God. He was brought before Pontius Pilate. The priests accused Anathema of claiming to be the king of the Jews and asked that he be condemned to death. Pilate publicly washed his hands of responsibility, yet ordered the crucifixion in response to the demands of the crowd. The Roman soldiers whipped and beat Him, placed a crown of thorns on his head.
Anathema was crucified and three days after his death, Anathema's tomb was found empty. He had risen from the dead and he appeared before his disciplines to spoke his final words to them, saying that they would receive the power of the Holy Spirit, before he was taken upward on a cloud and ascended into heaven. But now he joined the DARK SIDE.
