Number 13 is at the center of many superstitions, some consider it to bring bad luck. We at Rave Or Die believe instead that number 13 always delivers happiness, success and even ecstasy to the mass. In particular when it gathers altogether two heavyweights from the Dance music culture on the label’s thirteen release. On A side we find Self Refelktion Boss Stranger in an acidic distorted exercise, injecting on “Motief” the perfect balance between pounding techno beats a la  90's Axis release and Woody McBride 303 loops and a little " je ne sais quoi " to make you jump on the Dancefloor. On the flipside, ROD mastermind fates the heavy artillery with “Shut Up And Dance”, a nod to the now defunct and eponymous mythic Rave London  label. Distorted yet irresistible electro techno tones characterize this pure Ravey anthem calibered for spacious warehouse with a generous sound system.
Raw techno tracks all the way from two masters of the genre!

Criticul - Straight Outta Hell

Ayarcana makes his debut on Cluster Node bringing with him his signature sound and style. The EP, titled ‘Cheap Rents and Haunted Houses’ (CN0006) consists of two destructive original tracks and two equally crushing remixes by Peryl and Outlander.

Sinister and slightly oppressive, the title evokes a shadowy reminiscence of some of the darker facets of life in the artist’s hometown of choice, Berlin. Side A. introduces us to the two original tracks, characterized by Ayarcana’s lethal kicks, monstrous modular noise and powerful synths, they are spinning us around, forcing us to face what we went through as we look ahead. 

Disorder, noise, pressure and paranoia, culminate in an electric storm, continuously upping the voltage to the next level. Ayarcana truly embodies the heavy hitting, relentless, industrial menace that he creates and routinely executes his listeners with. 

Influences like hardcore punk, harsh noise and black metal have always been an undeniable presence in the artist’s sound and there is no doubt that the energy in the tracks is filled with an unsettlement and yet the effect is immediate; surrendering to mental destruction has never sounded so appealing.

On the B. side, two uncompromising remixes of ‘Cheap Rents and Haunted Houses’ continue the EP. Peryl’s version immediately transports the listener to a dystopian landscape of menacing atmospheres and sharp, distorted noises, while Outlander’s interpretation completes the EP with a brutal storm of rave energy ready to tear down the club, taking no prisoners.

Over the course of just three EPs, Klangkuenstler has firmly established his imprint Outworld as a dead serious force to be reckoned with. On 'Armageddon', the label's floor-shaking 4th release, the Berlin artist is out to wreak more havoc by way of three merciless warehouse bangers, all as well- crafted as they are impactful. 
While a hypnotic acid riff and stout kick lend the opener 'Ihr Werdet Weinen' an almost jovial bounce, it is Klangkuenstler's expert use of an ice-cold spoken word that will no doubt cause a 
shudder of excitement among the sweat-drenched bodies its destined to move. Next up, the hard EBM slam of 'Ehre Und Gewalt' goes straight for the jugular, pulled along impatiently by eerie, 
cinematic synths towards its full-throttle climax. Whoever's left standing will only have a split second to catch their breath before 'Armageddon' then rips it away entirely: this ferocious brute of 
an EP closer couldn't have been titled more aptly as epic trance stabs and razorblade hats slash through the speakers and Klangkuenstler rings in the end of all days.
