Iris Rijskamp has an enormous love for electronic music, not a moment goes by where they're not digging for new discoveries. This is what makes Iris' sets eclectic and refreshing.

For this mix they are going back in time taking a u-turn to 'Route Nostalgia' but with a fresh edge to it. Taking you back to their beginning as a DJ playing only Italo, Electro & New Beat and sprinkling some new glittery gems in the mix to top it up. 

Iris is also part of Plasma Collective, where they work together towards more inclusive line-ups and dancefloors. The collective is based in Eindhoven, Iris lives in 's Hertogenbosch.

Following the release of his debut album last year, 2022, London-based producer On Man is back with his new remix album High Crystal due April 14th via Houndstooth.

The record features reworks of tracks from his debut LP from artists such as Mogwai, Salamanda, Katie Gately, Lotic, The Bug, Throwing Snow, Hodge & more.

On Man’s creative roots lie deep. An artist with a unique gift for sound design, he’s able to conjure perfect pop songs and then corrode them, revealing the emotional truths underneath. An electronic artist with a human touch, he’s worked in the studio for an array of other artists, as well as delivering huge cinematic soundtrack projects, all while pursuing his own solitary agenda.

On Man’s eponymous debut album was his graduation point, a record framed by grief, the loss of identity, and the process of rediscovery and came out last year via Houndstooth. The songs have now been reworked by a number of notable artists for his album High Crystal.

At Open Source Radio, for May 5th. That we may never forget that we live in a relative free country. Free of war and in a democracy with many well working protective laws. We must appreciate what we have, even though there is still a long way to go for emancipation of so many people. 

I hope this set will energize people to get to work within anything political or community strengthening. There are many people in our society that are being discriminated against, because of disabilities, color, gender, religion or nationality. 

Discrimination and hatred of other people is at the base of every war, so we must keep striving for love and equality for all, every day and everywhere!
