We’re excited to share “Grind” because it’s a flavor-explosion of some of our favorite sounds: a laid-back groove with beats of the fattest variety and guitar reminiscent of soul/blues/rock juxtaposed with an eerie alternative force.

This tune features a distorted and harmonized riff on sax that is sure to spread butter all over your biscuits. It also features recordings of engines & machines that James made at work (while he should’ve been working). These sounds tie in conceptually with the song’s lyrical theme and message.

CODEX is a musical collaboration between Adam Littman and James Reed. 

Above all else, the two of us are HUGE fans of music. As avid listeners/nerds, we know we follow artistic giants. Our aspiration is to soak up all of the brilliance these giants emit in order to reflect, refract, and channel something beautiful.
