This is the main theme played in the game PAWNS. I really enjoyed making this song, because it felt like something that I would take inspiration from in the future

Music Theory Content Below:
Harmonically my most impressive song at the moment because it is technically not in the Major nor Minor Scale. Instead it uses what’s known as a mode which defines the root note. In this case, the song uses the key of C, but I use the Dorian Mode which makes the root note D. 
(I ii iii IV V vi vii° becomes i ii III IV v vi° VII)
However I did cheat a little bit by makaking what in this case would be a vm7 and made it a V7 in the progression to make it sound more minor harmonic, but I also thought that followed well from the vi°7.
For the buildup, I let the chord progression go, but I decided to add a pedal point because I thought it made the pedal point more intense.

This song was intended to be for when a boss battle shows up, but we didn't have enough time to add those. I also didn’t have that much inspiration for this demo but if we continue development, I would like to build on this song more. Otherwise I still hope you enjoy it!
