With "Let the Good Times Roll," SoCal Electro/Soul/Funk duo Crush Effect have transformed Earl King's classic "Come On (Let the Good Times Roll)" by incorporating an arrangement of speaker-rattling basslines and buzzing electronic effects. Different from previous covers by Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, among others, the chorus is soaked in auto-tune and loops as a repetitive mantra atop a plethora of synthesizers, scattered drums, and multi-layered guitar riffs. Debuted at Coachella's Do Lab stage, "Let the Good Times Roll" is being released for free download and for purchase on iTunes, premiering via The Dankles.

This is my first attempt at literally producing anything, so it's kind of a  big deal for me. I'd like to think of it as a time I caught my first wave or rode my skateboard for the first time.
