A long-time music fiend, Jake Pugh created the Chasing alias in 2016 to bring high quality underground dance music to the dance floors of the Deep South in a way that would catalyze connection and growth. Focusing on emotive Deep House, Deep Tech, Afro House, and Minimal Techno, Chasing is a rising artist with a passion for the Deeper side of both dance music and human existence. As co-founder and head promoter of the Gravity series of House and Techno parties in Montgomery, Alabama, Chasing has planted a seed for a diverse and accepting underground music scene to take root. He’s decided these are things worth Chasing.

Akira Salehin, known professionally as Akira, is a DJ and producer hailing from Antwerp, Belgium. Born in 1987, he developed a passion for music at a young age, influenced by both classical and house genres. This early interest evolved into a dynamic career spanning over two decades, during which he has continually refined his unique sound. At 17, Akira began working at the USA Import Record store in Antwerp, immersing himself in the vinyl culture. His dedication led to a residency at the legendary Café d'Anvers, a pivotal venue in his early career. Over the years, Akira has performed internationally, with notable appearances in UK, Norway, USA, Finland, The Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Thailand and events such as Burnig Man, ADE, Tomorrowland and The Gardens of Babylon.
Akira's music is characterised by a seamless blend of electronic and organic elements, creating a storytelling journey that captivates listeners and keeps them moving. His commitment to crafting the perfect groove and flow continues to define his contributions to the electronic music scene. Underground house music in all its shapes and forms.
In 2021, Akira released his debut track "Close To Itajai" on Souksonic, a label curated by Lost Desert. He followed this with a remix of Matias Fittpaldi's "Alas" in 2022. A collaboration with Hermanez was released on the Mooizo label in 2024, reflecting his ongoing evolution as an artist. Akira is diligently working on new music in his home studio, with some very exciting releases planned for the near future.

The highlight of 2023 was BERLIN's debut in September, in an incredible 12-hour marathon party "Berlin meets Ibiza" in Des Weisse Hase.

2024 has debuted for Alex with a big challenge, getting the chance to perform a series of extended DJ Sets in Locos (Marbella), a legendary electronic music spot from Costa Del Sol. Also, he had the opportunity to be the first DJ of the season who played officially in the newest club of Playa D'en Bossa, Avyca Club (Ex. Sankeys) alongside big names like Cera Khin, Dyen or RUIZ OSC1 for legendary Italian techno promoter "PHASE 2".
 
The highlight of last summer was the last boat party DJ set where Alex delivered a special House Set adapted very well to the crowd.
He is currently part of the Avana Agency rooster and DIPEF, the Association of DJs and Producers of Ibiza. 

Alex feels very comfortable playing music at any type of cool crowd, venue, club, or festival, which can provide a Quality Professional Sound System!
