I pick my battles
And I take my licks
At the rehearsal
I rewrite the script

There’s something I have to get off my chest
But I don’t know how to say it best

Tape decks chew on old cassettes
Restless pacing wears the floorboards
Grasp at smoke and call it home
Shape my thoughts like molten chrome

Stories aching to be told
Every silence must be broken
But I bottled the eclipse

It’s a compulsion

Love On The Edge Of Desire

Musically, the guitars can open up with brighter overdrive and room reverb to create that sunrise shimmer over the rhythm section, while the live drums stay tight and punchy to preserve danceable momentum. Vocally, the grit and swagger will remain but with slightly more melodic lift — less about struggle, more about revival. Think of standing proud at dawn, feeling the wild heartbeat of the woods.

Selenite cuts clear while the wild energies flow!

Senate steers the garden—keep the culture soft!
Solstice turn the wheel, from dark to living green,
Poco-Loco presides—guardian of the dream!

Winners own the mask, choose their soul to don,
Preside the Senate table till the next solstice dawn.
Mask on for the debates, chaos births the new,
Selenite seer watches, keepin' vision true.
Breaks to lift the weight, herb smoke in the den,
Ease the manic current flowin' deep within.
Losers skate free—relief tastes so sweet,
First pick of the harvest, lighter Senate seat.

Care and balance hold us in the solstice light.
