Raw Culture indulges one of its trusted crazy horses for a second time. Artistically born in some seedy basement in Livorno and raised on bread, voice and DIY, Anna Funk Damage presents his album Church of the Poisoned Minds.
8 sonic artifacts resulting from the combination of a well-established Italian talent and the alternating current running through the circuits of his synths (and probably to the curses on her bills). Post-punk attitude spanning wacky grids and wild bpm's.

‘Al’maghfira / Forgiveness’ is the artist’s portrait of a still picture, ‘a mental snapshot of my brain taken in the middle of the currently unfolding events of my life. So many questions arise, what will I become ? Am I waiting for something, why isn't it happening yet? What is it even? What the fuck…’

The album is a conversation between Prophän and the voices in his head, sometimes these voices manifest themselves as a song playing in a loop, other times a raging roar. He protests, then resigns, looking for comfort in magical protection, even though it is not working any more. Truths have unfolded, making his whole world crumble and fall apart. The rage builds up, entering the most primitive mode, by following his instincts and attacking on sight. Then, a state of peace and quiet. Serenity. He turns outwards, looking for beauty in life, looking for God, some kind of protection. Al’maghfira evokes beautiful sorcery entwined with chaotic times, conveying its melancholic emotions into grim electronics. In these industrial and tribal signatures, you will hear the nuanced elements of forgiveness.

Prophän is the solo electronic music project of Othman Cherradi, based in Paris and previously in Casablanca. Cherradi runs the experimental techno label Rhadâb and is the co-founder of Mindless, a series of live events, podcasts and radio broadcasts. He acknowledges a wide spectrum of musical inspirations, ranging from industrial and noise to the undeniable influence of local trance-inducing musical practices and customs that surrounds him in North Africa. 


[MEDS XII] On this land, Mediterano, the Mediteranos gods created the animals, led by the speaking Mediteranis who multiplied and worshipped their gods.

Long awaited artist under the “Unrealistic Expectations” label, AIRLQD comes with a futuristic and melancholic musical odyssey into an analogue maze of distorted futuristic synth lines, haunting strings and vocal echoes. The “Off Leash" EP, a 5-track album, invites you to wander through the circuitry of fragmented consciousness.

“Off Leash", the eponymous track of the album, sets the tone for the whole album with dystopian psychedelic synthesizers and more aggressive tones followed by the depth of the strings present in the whole album. It’s a close-to-perfect combination with the industrial electro-driven beats. Punk & High Tech, it's AIR LQD in its most dangerous form.

“Our Lengthened Shadows” goes deeper into the heart of the album’s bleak and dystopian melancholic theme, exploring the emotional and psychological aspects of fear. This track, in particular, serves as a sonic exploration of desolation.

"Off Leash" EP is an album that truly challenges the listener's preconceptions about industrial music. Demonstrating the depth and sophistication that can exist within this genre. It’s an enigmatic masterpiece that ventures into the realms of darkwave, minimal synth and post-punk. Brought to life under the banner of the "Unrealistic Expectations" label.

Dalmata Daniel welcomes Filmmaker and Petros Spatharos for the eighth part of their split series. This obscure 3-3 track vinyl is the debut of the Columbian music maker on the label. However, for the Athens-based producer it's a return after his participation on "Dalmata Daniel eats Lahmacun" compilation. But this project isn't their first collaboration, because Petros released his first album on Body Musick, Filmmaker's own imprint.

Filmmaker probably doesn't really need to be introduced to those who are comfortable with contemporary underground music. In less than five years he has composed and released a huge and relevant oeuvre by himself or on labels such as the UK-based Opal Tapes, Dutch Tartarus, Greek Phormix or the German Veyl, etc. To add Dalmata Daniel to this list is kind of a dream come true for the label, because they have been following his musical journey since the beginning. And no doubt, his side of the vinyl is another testament to his already perfected sound. What you recognise from the first moment of this noisy, industrial, sometimes dissonant ebm driven electro, infused with a film noir atmosphere and total darkness.

While on the flip side, Petros Spatharos keeps the obscurity going, which is the real link with his split partner's music. Only his sound is clean, not chaotic, but rather underworld techno with an extremely restrained tempo and some beyond-the-grave acid screams. That's how this inferno journey will be complete with full of dark emotional atmospheres and hypnotic textures.

Dalmata Daniel is excited to introduce the eighth installment of their split series, featuring Filmmaker and Petros Spatharos. In this edition, they present a unique 3-3 track vinyl, marking the debut of the talented Colombian music maker on the label. For Athens-based producer Petros Spatharos, it's a welcome return after his previous contribution to the "Dalmata Daniel eats Lahmacun" compilation. Presenting a sneak peek of Marienus' track, "Drasland Op De Heuvelrug," from the Machine Cult label. Marienus, a talented Dutch DJ and producer, known for hosting No Soap Radio on @operator-radio and being a part of @publicsex-regime, showcases his skills as a great DJ and selector. Machine Cult, led by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe, operates both as an electronic music platform and a record label with a series of events. The launch party is set to take place at OT301 in Amsterdam on November 25th.

The aim is to spotlight a slice of the vibrant local and international music scene in the Netherlands, marking the debut with Edition One. Six original tracks, curated from the musical landscapes of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, feature contributions from artists such as Déandrah (AMS), Garçon Taupe (AMS), Marienus (RTM), Moodswings (AMS), The Spy (AMS), and Xceptor (RTM).
