''I could have lived differently" describes the discrepancy between society's expectations and individual dreams and desires. Deep, clean sounds of the cello form the basis for an emotional and building violin melody creating a harmonious, cinematic string composition full of hope, that is characterized by Middle Eastern/Asian influences. I play acoustic violin here and also added cello lines.

The story behind it:
‘In my life, I was always at a crossroads. Between interests and pursuing my dreams and what society and family wants me to do. I could have lived differently. It is about the story of all the people who decide not to be like everyone else in the world. They have the courage to live differently the way they want to live. This is for those who say I will live differently if I go back in time. They go to their dreams without fear; however, Modern life and the world community make all people a completely identical  version and do not respect the different talents of individuals.’

The drawbridge closes for the last time. The previous lord is to be deprived of his power. The henchmen of the new ruler rush the castle of the existing lord. With many times the manpower of the self-proclaimed new ruler, the "old" lord will hardly have a chance. Until the very end, he has cherished his land and its inhabitants, taking care of them and making everyone happy. The new dark ruler will bring misery to the land and its inhabitants. This is certain...

By the way, just exchanged at 21:21 in the evening.... The young man at the kettledrum missed his cues partly by millionths of a second. That is not possible! The whole orchestra complained after the performance! Well...I then reprimanded myself. Now the timing is right 🤣
