These tunes are reflective of a new emerging reality for humanity, as we take the time to look at ourselves while in "lockdown" and prepare to emerge once more into the world, deeper towards our fully manifested forms of light and love. The Equinox represents the time "in between times" when light and dark are in balance, and one can journey to the forest to find many creatures gathered to observe the passing of the Equinox.... Close your eyes and relax deeply into this album, and let the Medicine Fox guide you once again to the old meadow in the woods, out beyond the realm of ideas and thoughts and further into the space of dreams and destiny.

Kalani is where "Ecstatic Dance" as we know it today began 20 years ago, and it was a blessing and honor to be able to play a set for their  sacred Sunday dance. 

Currently, as the world shut downs temporarily due to CoVID-19, and sadly this means our dances as well, it felt like a meaningful and necessary time to post this set and share it with my dance communities far and wide. Cornflower’s sound emerges from the moment connecting you to your Soul. His voice calls us deeper into Presence utilizing modern mantra-like lyrics upon a landscape of vocal loops, he builds layers and dimensions of harmony and groove like sonic lasagne into an anthemic chant to set your body ablaze in movement and prayer.

Cornflower’s music is a mix of experimental vocal soul, world-funk, jam & electronica layered over a delicate balance of structure and improvisation.

He has shared stages with the likes of Michael Franti & Spearhead, Bobby McFerrin, Victor Wooten, Jeff Pevar, Ayla Nereo, Mike Love, Alice DiMicele, Indubious, Jai-Jagdeesh, Fanna-Fi-Allah, Audio Angel and Janet Stone.

After his debut album “Journey Into Sound” in 2009, culled from improvisational performances, his newest studio singles, “You Are The Medicine” featuring Indubious & “Monks on Main Street” are his most focused and potent material to date.
