Echoes from N Λ T U R R I T U - MATERIA PRIMA. For me, music is synonymous with the first vibration born from silence. The first and most direct from the source of being. The first matter - the primordial matter - will determine everything we experience, know, think and know from that moment on. Depending on the use of alchemy, healing or destruction happens from here. To listen to music and especially to create a sound journey means for me to follow this thread, to find a way to the source of existence, to the primordial. To what everything in this world turns: to the omnipresent harmony. In addition, I would like to point out again and again that this happens in harmony. Harmony means to bring opposites together. Dissolving our thinking of opposites. Letting go of our differentiation of things, instead recognizing the connections and commonalities. ALL IS RELATED - according to Jeremy Narby in his lectures. This knowledge is as old as humanity itself. We are allowed to remember again what we are, what this planet is all about, how we live in peace and most importantly where we come from - just follow the sounds to silence.

Die erste Materie - der Urstoff - wird von dem Zeitpunkt an alles bestimmen was wir erleben, kennen, denken und wissen. Je nach Verwendung von Alchemie geschieht von hier aus Heilung oder Zerstörung. Musik zu hören und vor allem eine Klangreise zu kreieren bedeutet für mich diesem roten Faden zu folgen, einen Weg zu finden bis hin zur Quelle der Existenz, bis zum Urspünglichen. Dorthin wonach sich alles auf dieser Welt dreht: zur allgegenwärtigen Eintracht.Darüber hinaus möchte ich immer wieder darauf hinweisen, dass dies in Harmonie geschiet. At IGNI, a New Earth tribe gathered to connect, dance and ignite the rain. Guided by electronic frequencies with tribal rhythms, we connected with our tribal essence and embarked on a journey back to our most primal connection with Mother Earth.

About this journey:
I often create my sonic storytelling with a title and intention that I hold through the journey of its birth into the world. This one was different, it began without a title – just a feeling into the frequency of Cosmovision Records. But a title did arrive – midway through recording as I felt my body and all of my being become the wind. This journey, this story, invokes the wind that we are. Air. Weightless. Strong. This set is one of several live sets in a series that will slowly and lovingly, like our musical vibration, open up to the world, bit by bit, piece by piece.

As musical and deep-soul brethren, Captures and Sādana have been harnessing their crafts for years, letting the winds blow their spirits from land to land, shining bright, even in the darkest of places. Their paths crossed in Berlin, the crux of electronic music and led them to collaborate and co-create on a crucial body of work, just when the World needed it most. This series, coming to be known as K I N S H I P, explores the depths of our hearts and the strength and courage in our patience, in friendship, in service; together. It is primarily improvised, with an undercurrent of produced work performed and launched live by Captures then layered and performed over by Sādana. 

So let the vibe simmer and crisp on both sides. Let the full flavor marinate and settle in, allowing it to reach it's full potential. Welcome the imperfections and let the authenticity and purity of the performance shine through. And just remember, you are love.

K I N S H I P (Captures + SĀDANA) - Burning Man 2019 *LIVE SET* Sacbe Camp (feat. Rachel Rossitto)

K I N S H I P is the collaborative work of two diverse and uniquely individual sound artists Captures and SĀDANA. As musical and deep-soul brethren, they  have been exploring the reaches of their creative potential while drifting through portals of vast cultural landscapes, collecting sounds of nature and knowledge from ancient-future civilizations, and shining light through the darkest of times. 

This set represents KINSHIP in their essence as they grace the iconic set and setting of the acclaimed Habitas venue in Tulum. It features an incredible improvised performance by the legendary Sam Wexler on Violin and finishes with a found-sound piece composed primarily of the sounds of plastic, trash, and debris, found on the beaches as a prerogative to raise awareness to live more consciously in harmony with nature.

So pour some tea, get cozy, breathe in your intention, exhale your worries, and allow the KINSHIP to carry you into the deep mystery...
