The event was held in a cozy amphitheater, filled with a wonderful audience, under the open sky of a warm summer evening. About this journey:
With this mix, I wanted you to hear what I felt during a journey where I experienced a form of awakening and rediscovered the simple pleasures of savoring, resting and waking up somewhere new again and again. 
This story is a musical ballad mixing oriental and shamanic flavours, where we let ourselves go beyond ancestral villages carried from the desert winds to the tropical jungles of the world. 

SVEGLIO is an Italian word meaning “awakened”. 

It tells the story of this journey that enabled me to rediscover my self-confidence, which is what I wish for each and every one of you: groovy kindness and serene dance.

Matriöchka started 15 years ago in France, where he organized and played as a drummer in endless jazz jams. Author, composer, performer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and storyteller, Matriöchka evolves and feeds your ears with different musical styles such as ambient, traditional world music, downtempo, electro, techno and other danceable, atmospheric experiments.

Octobass / downtempo, baby! / # 46

This set was recorded at a very special location. After a beautiful walk through the forest more and more people gathered in a mystical cave for a transcendent night. I loved to play the opening set and see my bouncy downtempo selection interconnect with the powerful atmosphere that derived from this place and the lovely souls that shared the vibe. Big thanks to everybody who was there with me and to the Tunnelvision crew for creating this magic. And of course thanks to all the great producers behind the music! ❤️
