About this edit :
In the mid 90s when I was 16 years old, a home tape recorded with music by Wu Tang Clan came into my life, from that moment on this sound with breaks, soul, jazz, funk, hiphop revolutionized my way of appreciating music.
Today, thanks to slow sounds, I find the opportunity to integrate and share this tribute to what has been the music of the future.

About this edit :
The song demonizes superstition in the truest sense of the word 😂... I personally just like the message that you shouldn't look back or too much into the future... especially when you're rocking out at a party, then these moments are magical and somehow infinite. This and the catchy riffs and chords then tempted me to push the song a little bit towards the dance floor with a gently modified arrangement.

K2W0 is a dreamer travelling across unknown yet familiar planes of existence. As the faceless walker embarks on his journey, he comes across unique environments, cultures and beings. Each encounter tells a story of its own expressed through song K2 is a mountain in Pakistan, which is also the second highest peak in the world. I am originally from Pakistan hence the inspiration for the name, as it can be linked backed to my roots. The W0(zero) is there to make it “two” while adding a bit of mystery. So, its pronounced K-2 (Kay-Two)

Paul Simon has always been my favorite songwriter, and his 1990 masterwork "The Rhythm of the Saints" is probably my favorite album of all time.  Simon recorded the percussion tracks in Brazil and then wrote the songs to the rhythms--an ingenious mode of creation that resulted in an album full of gorgeous melodies that pulsates with life and unfolds in unexpected ways.  For my edit of the title track, I simplified the harmony and supplied driving afrohouse rhythms and interlocking synths to make a catchy anthem perfect for a summer beach party...
