We're thrilled to present Camel Riders Records new release titled 'Minayo' by the French-Moroccan-based producers Sound of Mint, incl. remixes by DIBIDABO, Yamagucci, Feller, Salmani, Carla Valenti. The Live electronic musicians and producers Sound Of Mint are serving us in their debut EP on Camel RIders, three colorful and mesmerizing originals: 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' featuring the exceptional Kora player from Senegal, Mbemba Diebate, in addition to the EP theme track 'Kolinga'. Sound Of Mint's originals navigate through the vast landscapes of West Africa, creating an impeccable fusion of traditional instruments and rhythms, epic vocals, and organic elements which are all coated with fine electronic melodies and beats, suited for a wide range of moods and settings. First, we have 'Sama Bena' and 'Minayo' which both display an uplifting and warm atmosphere, combining divine Kora sounds, hypnotizing vocals, and captivating melodies with fine electronic sounds. The third original by Sound Of Mint is 'Kolinga', the EP theme track which combines funky traditional melodies, Guitars, organic percussions, wooden sounds, synths, and intoxicating tribal vocal fragments, which create all together with a fresh World Music Bluesy tune. On remix duty, we have the pleasure to welcome the Russian producer DIBIDABO and the Tel Aviv-based producer Salmani, with their debut on Camel Riders. In addition, we are thrilled to have back on our label the Japanese-Israeli producer Yamagucci, Feller from Beit Oren, and Carla Valenti from Chile. This talented team of remixers, catapult the originals to the heart of the dance floor, with a wide range of thrilling electronic sounds which vary from Slow Tech to Organic & Deep House, infusing pounding melodies, acidic elements, and fresh profound beats. Sound Of Mint ft. Mbemba Diebaté - Minayo (Feller Remix)

MULTI CULTI remix resurrection of buried Swiss-Afro diamond - features impressive mixes from Kalabrese, Mickey Moonlight, the Multi Culti production gurus and Crowdpleaser himself. 

Geneva-based producer and journeyman DJ Crowdpleaser's 2011 self-titled album contained a brilliant anomaly in NENEKRI, featuring a unique vocal performance from Burkina Faso native Wamian Kaïd. It received glowing feedback from some top-calibre DJs (Joakim, MANDY, Duke Dumont, Paul Woolford, Brodinski etc), particularly for the excellent jerk-acid remix by sonic psychonaut Mickey Moonlight, but possibly due to Turbo's affiliation with harder-edged sounds, some of the highlights stayed well under the radar. Fortunately, this re-rubbed release sees the music more relevant than ever, in the midst of the multi-culti dance explosion brought on by the likes of Daphni / Four Tet / Awesome Tapes From Africa / Romare / Auntie Flo / Acid Arab / Comeme etc. 

In A-side 45rpm position, the Crowdpleaser Dub finally gets the 12" space it always deserve. This is the kind of record you would hope to hear ignite the early hours of an epic Innervisions party or Soul Clap Burning Man jam. This lost classic gets served up alongside the terrific Mickey Moonlight and a host of impressive new mixes….

Kalabrese's remix was also a bit lost in the mayhem and now gets a fresh DJ-friendly edit that hones in on the funk and flirts with the acid whilst stripping things down for the dance floor. Finally, label-heads Angelo Cruzman and Thomas Von Party bring an ecstatic early morning version, pushing the package deeper and darker, layering percussion and sun-rise pads that cushion the feeling of the end of the night, rounding out an essential multi-national, multi-lingual, multi-dimensional package.

Based in Nancy, Brasserie de Clémery draws its inspiration from both German brewing traditions and the organoleptic revolution of the craft brewing movement. All their beers are brewed and produced on site, with an emphasis on human scale, quality and short supply chains. They see tradition as a fundamental foundation, and experimentation as a necessary pleasure. And it works: in April 2023, one of their beers was named best beer in the world!

PREMIERE : Feller - Play Sitar

Altered Rhythm Experience presents its first EP by the Mexican genius Leonor together with his dear friend Feller, master of the shamanic rhythms and enveloping textures that characterize his artistic seal. They have produced devastating work for the dance floor in which they explore paths with ethnic rhythms and Latin influences.

Nativo and mOUA are two tracks in which these great artists develop a slow rhythm with low combustion and solid bass in which they architect layers of ethnic sounds and dark synthesizers, making these original compositions truly special with a unique sound.

In charge of the mixes we have the Japanese artist Akio Nagase, who brings freshness and electronic overtones with an acidic flavor to the Nativo track. From Mexico Ludviq presents us with his particular vision of mOUA (Ludviq’s Bizarre Mix), in which he creates a dark track, designed to take the dance floor on a journey through his contagious rhythms.

Finally from Rome we have the pleasure of having A-Tweed and his remix of Nativo in this complete Ep in which he pre- sents a powerful track with Trance influences and a more techno sound focused directly on the rush hour of the night.

Altered Rhythm Experience presents itself to the world with this powerful EP loaded with the best of current contempo- rary electronic music.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

In the Tirio Indian village of Kwamala (Suriname), deep in the Amazon rain forest, Kamanya lay in his hammock, burning with fever. His mother sat nearby fanning him. “Kamanya, Kamanya,” she whispered, but he did not answer. She spoke gently to her husband. “It is time. Take him.” He picked up the boy and carried him to the hut of the shaman—the medicine man. Softly chanting, the shaman Nahtahlah disappeared into the forest. The returned with leaves, roots, and bark, which he put into a pot of water boiling on the fire. Stirring and singing, he asked the sickness to leave the boy. Then Nahtahlah removed the pot from the fire, and when the mixture had cooled he lifted Kamanya’s head and poured the warm medicine into the boy’s mouth. The shaman’s song ended as night came. Kamanya’s parents sat beside him until morning. When the boy awoke, the fever was gone. As the years passed, Kamanya would remember the shaman’s ritual as if it were all a dream. But he never forgot that the shaman saved his life. 
Leonor was hurled headlong flaming from the ethereal sky. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will have you questioning your existence. DBRA, Feller and Rabih Rizk know the answer about the existence of life.
