We recruited Chicago Loop for remix duties. His version of Mindweave adds an immersive synth sequence and a groove that reminds us of the late 90s. Great Package!

In February I played at @foldldn for the @codeword-london launch of my Stream State compilation. The night was perfect - exactly what I was craving from a club night in London, with an intimacy that I haven't felt in years in the UK - and with recent events pre-corona threatening FOLD's existence, we were all so happy to pull that night off! Happening a month or so before the Corona lockdowns hit, with @efdemin and @jamaicasuk both on top form, it was instantly one of my highlights of the past years, so I recorded this mix for Codeword's monthly show on @threadsradio in honour of that sweet night in the East End! A big shout out to @cukier-codeword at Codeword for all his hard work and a great collab. Hope you enjoy the mix - it was recorded in one take at Studio Db in Berlin. Lots of new stuff and forthcoming Counterchange cuts in here, plus some well-tested favourites. X

The 73rd FrenzyPodcast will be provided by the German DJ Basic Groove. Torsten (Basic Groove) is already active as a dj since 1997, and with also having worked in a record store from ’99-’05 it is sure that he knows his records. Nowadays he reduced his tempo a little bit, but for this time Torsten created a vinyl-only set with the sound he used to play in the late 90’s / early 00’s. 

He took a dive into his record collection and created a selection of tracks from artists such as Oliver Ho, Slobodan, Chris Liebing and Mhonolink, to name a few. Enjoy the sound of Basic Groove for the next hour!

This has led to gigs at clubs including @KHIDI, Griessemuhle, Gare and Vurt as well as in Japan, Colombia and the US. Mazzilli’s 1h mix for Codeword on @threadsradio oscillates between deeper textures and dancefloor pounders, giving a flavour of the raw, intense energy that permeates Mazzilli’s output.
