Astroloop is more than just a musical project; it's the brainchild of a passionate artist named Gabriele Lori, whose love affair with the diverse realms of electronic music runs deep. Nestled within the vibrant tapestry of the Feste Preziose festival, Gabriele assumes the role of a resident DJ, seeking that elusive sweet spot where grooves and melodies intertwine seamlessly. His devotion to the dancefloor is unwavering, yet he keeps an open and dreamy eye on the enchanting world of slow-dance electronic productions.

The journey of Astroloop commenced back in 2017, a path paved with earlier projects, including captivating radioshows and unforgettable nights in pulsating clubs. It all came together with the release of the debut vinyl gem, "Svegsy. EP," which found its home on the legendary Freerange Records, curated by none other than the esteemed Jimpster.

Fast forward to 2023, and Gabriele's artistic voyage took a thrilling leap into the realm of Disco Halal, a realm crafted by the illustrious Moscoman. This adventure followed a string of remarkable musical releases, having left their indelible mark on labels like Curses Ombra International and Modular Project's Nothing is Real.

Astroloop's sonic odyssey continues to evolve, resonating with the hearts of music enthusiasts worldwide, all thanks to the visionary passion and dedication of Gabriele Lori. In a world turned upside down, where chaos reigns and uncertainty is the only constant, we, a disparate band of souls, found sanctuary in the most unexpected of places: the Counterterraism Guest Mix Series. The name itself mirrored the core of our purpose.

Counter, the antithesis, and Terra, the Earth, symbolise our ceaseless battle to navigate the tumultuous sea of a world in disarray. 

Week after week, we invite a guest, a luminary of the electronic music realm, to share their melodies and tales. These auditory odysseys become the score for our uncharted lives.

Amidst a world veering from its familiar course, we embrace it. We dance to a new rhythm, a reminder that even in a world turned strange and unrecognisable, our connection to the Earth and one another is a tether to acceptance. Life, it seemed, had taken a different path, and we, in the harmonious discord of Counterterraism, found an unconventional beauty.
