Astroloop is more than just a musical project; it's the brainchild of a passionate artist named Gabriele Lori, whose love affair with the diverse realms of electronic music runs deep. Nestled within the vibrant tapestry of the Feste Preziose festival, Gabriele assumes the role of a resident DJ, seeking that elusive sweet spot where grooves and melodies intertwine seamlessly. His devotion to the dancefloor is unwavering, yet he keeps an open and dreamy eye on the enchanting world of slow-dance electronic productions.

The journey of Astroloop commenced back in 2017, a path paved with earlier projects, including captivating radioshows and unforgettable nights in pulsating clubs. It all came together with the release of the debut vinyl gem, "Svegsy. EP," which found its home on the legendary Freerange Records, curated by none other than the esteemed Jimpster.

Fast forward to 2023, and Gabriele's artistic voyage took a thrilling leap into the realm of Disco Halal, a realm crafted by the illustrious Moscoman. This adventure followed a string of remarkable musical releases, having left their indelible mark on labels like Curses Ombra International and Modular Project's Nothing is Real.

Astroloop's sonic odyssey continues to evolve, resonating with the hearts of music enthusiasts worldwide, all thanks to the visionary passion and dedication of Gabriele Lori. The future holds endless possibilities for this electronic dreamweaver, and we eagerly await the next enchanting chapter in the Astroloop story.

Next space commanders on the show are the legendary Roswell Brothers, a Mexican/Chilean duo hailing from the underground Rock and Trance spheres. An electronic Rock fusion with high doses of progressive Disco" (DJ Mag Spain | # 123 | May 2021).
They appear in the FREEDL series of Sexy Dinosaur From Outer Space in the late 2020 and since then their music has been released by renowned labels of the genre: Nein Records, Emerald & Doreen, Mélopée, J Records, Maleante, Controlla, Veneno and Golden Soul, to name a few.

Earlier this year, I asked a friend for some advise on how to secure gigs or guest mixes -  In short, their advise was essentially, "keep doing what you're doing - upload regularly, but maybe just consider doing it for myself.."

The music being released by Nein Records has been massively influential to how our tastes have developed over the last few years.  Tronik Youth's Mixlr broadcasts during Lockdown cemented his status as one of our biggest idols.

'Pili Pili' is the legendary band of Jasper van´t Hof from the 80s / 90s.  

In 1984 he presented the  project, which is still successful today, in which European jazz is combined with African music and danceable grooves. The title track of the first LP, a 15-minute trance production with African drums, made him famous overnight on the dance floor of the club scene. Singer Angelique Kidjo was discovered and Pili Pili played in changing line-ups in Europe for 20 years. In 1998 the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung wrote: “The Afro Beat by Pili Pili is more than just a fashionable exotic colour. Its originality is combined with instrumental virtuosity that is unique to jazz. Pili Pili houses rock and funk under one roof. ” 'Dance Jazz Live' is the title of one of the Pili Pili CDs and still the group's motto."  (taken from Afro-Jazz-Fusion State Jazz 2018 Press release)

'I got in touch with Pili Pili on a tour to Innsbruck and then North of Italy, Bolzano in 2010.  It was on the radio randomly playing in the car whilst we were driving. I managed to get the name and fell in love with the whole album. I have to be honest that i never have heard about them before. I felt like i was crate digging in a record shop when I discovered that pearl. In my version, I wanted to play it a bit faster and with a more powerful beat, so decided to make an edit. It took me some weeks until i was happy with the result without killing the vibe and the structure of the awesome original. Somehow, I sometimes think that editing some great tracks is a sort of "sacrilege" with art... Nevertheless... this was the result:)'
