Twin brothers from other mothers - born on the same day in the same year - 50% east, 50% west of the Berlin wall. Long-term DJs, musicians, culture affiliates, and friends.

Überhaupt & Außerdem reached out to a broader audience in the midst of the pandemic with downtempo releases on labels like Akasha MX, Baikal Nomads, Magician on Duty, AKUMANDRA, Heimlich Musik and were noticed by GROOVE magazine and personal idols like Dominik Eulberg, Acid Pauli and Mira for the distinct, nonchalant sound which is sustained by an emotional touching spectrum of fluffy warmth to gloomy drive that never lacks attitude.

After the first international tour through Mexico in the summer of 2021, there bloomed an exciting collaboration with Underyourskin Records’ in-house booking agency and the recent, very well-received EP "An Understanding“.

They asked me for an "Ambient" set at 2 a.m. because TeaBar is a chill stage, where I worked as a stage manager this year. 
But @Kaleema_ba played at 11 and blew up the dancefloor :) 
Then some guys sang acoustic songs at 1, but people had the Saturday late-night psychedelic energy, so:
I played mid-tempo, groovy, trippy electronica from 3 a.m. until 5:30 a.m., then We played B2B until 7 a.m. with Lucaz the sound technician... I wanted to dance with every special soul gathering at Lichtung.
This is just the beginning of a late-night music spell...

Since Cris Kai moved to Ibiza in 2010, she has been living and breathing electronic music. She interprets atmospheres and traverses landscapes, always focused on high-quality underground and little-known producers.

Cris selects from an eclectic slew of genres, focusing on a psychedelic essence: house deep, progressive & minimal; acid, electro, breakbeats, indie dance, nu-disco, downtempo, ketapop, groovy,  organic, nu-tropical, Afro roots.  As well vinyl's selections of break-beats, acid, electro, minimal house.. and with her partner collects old cumbias and vintage tropical records playing at speakeasy bars in Atlanta... *a music-obsessed person

Cris has been traveling and playing internationally in Europe and the Americas nonstop since 2016, counting over 30 cities in 11 countries.

She also hosts and curates the Luuma Beat Radio Show on @PureIbizaradio 97.2fm since 2018. Sundays 16h Ibiza
