Siren 004: Concret

Concret is the music project of Diego Angelico Escobar, Italo-Mexican artist and dj based between Mexico City and New York. His music has been released on various labels including Correspondant, Motordiscs, Toy Tonics as well as on his own label Tráfico Music. His artistic career has been crossing the barriers between music, sound design and perforative art installations. Concret has been playing on stages around the globe, and his name has become synonymous with the rising underground Latin American music scene. He has been a featured guest of the notorious radio shows Radio Raheem, Red Light Radio and The Lot. His energy on decks is well known to be addictive and sexually uninhibited. His musical influences draw from post punk, minimal wave and house music. Concret is classically trained and was the former drummer and musician of the post Punk Bands Mercury Drops, I’ve Killed the Cat and Yut!

Born in Mexico, self-made in Ibiza, now US resident. 
Since Cris Kai moved to Ibiza in 2010, she has been living and breathing electronic music. She interprets atmospheres and traverses landscapes, always focused on high-quality underground and little-known producers.

Cris selects from an eclectic slew of genres, focusing on a psychedelic essence: house deep, progressive & minimal; acid, electro, breakbeats, indie dance, nu-disco, downtempo, ketapop, groovy,  organic, nu-tropical, Afro roots.  As well vinyl's selections of break-beats, acid, electro, minimal house.. and with her partner collects old cumbias and vintage tropical records playing at speakeasy bars in Atlanta... *a music-obsessed person

Cris has been traveling and playing internationally in Europe and the Americas nonstop since 2016, counting over 30 cities in 11 countries.

She also hosts and curates the Luuma Beat Radio Show on @PureIbizaradio 97.2fm since 2018. Sundays 16h Ibiza
