Great piece. Unique shifts in melody. I really enjoyed it.

Yes cinematic sound, quality sounds, is that Logic or NI Komplete 5 ? (<--by the way quite expensive...). Like the melodies and chord progression. I gives an 'onbestemd' feeling (can't translate that particular word), I mean a feeling like "where does it go, where does this lead to? Anyhow, wonderful piece, I have to read your description to find out what the skater has to do with it.....

Ice skaters yes...but,for me,there is also something sinister about this - like an old fairground/carnival place when all the people have left...with slight movement of the rides...I think it might be the dischordancy on occasion - the oboe always does that to me - and the mix of major and minors slightly at odds with themselves -I REALLY like this and I too,think it would work really well in cinema. Peace:)) Hope you don't mind my interpretation!!

yes ! The haunted carnival where the Harlekin is a dancin behind the veil .. And he finds himself being a unpredictable fool able to scare of most people including himself .. So he is left all by himself in his own self . And the scene seemed a tricky place for him to be since it was inside his trickster dreamscape of surrealisticaly fractalistic spiralismisocity :-) haha!!

I created a website for my music: http://www.bruce-cropley.com a couple of years ago, through which you can buy mp3s of your favourite pieces, or the whole "Modal Podal" or "We Are Alive" album as a CD. :)

I like (and make music in) lots of different types of music, mainly Jazz, Latin, Classical, Electronic, Experimental.
My aim is to compose music in every style I like. It could take me a while. :)
My influences include: Dave Brubeck, Mike Oldfield, Cubanismo, Bill Evans, JS Bach, The Beatles, AC Jobim, Thelonius Monk, Gil Evans, Michael Jackson and many others.

I have studied piano, trumpet and drums with a few different teachers. I used to jam regularly with friends, and have been in a few bands. My musical interests have been mainly jazz and latin.

At the moment, I am mainly using Logic Studio 9; to give myself some more sounds to play, I bought NI Komplete 5. To generate music more quickly, I bought Band In A Box 2012.5.
Make sure you look at the genres of my music before you press the play button; the styles are very different.
