I wrote this song as an exploration of the internal battle against the crushing weight of boredom. It depicts a descent into a stagnant and isolating state, but also highlights the inner resilience and the determined effort to "crawl up" and break through the oppressive silence. The imagery of "electric veins" and a "guitar strings slicing the fog" suggests a powerful, almost violent, awakening.
