Co-founder of Colorado's longest-running electronic music radio program, Electronic Air on KGNU-FM, E23 (Brian K. Comerford) was also a producer in the first wave of Internet Radio, having co-founded RadioValve.com in the mid-90s. E23 helped spread the evolution of electronic music and rave culture both on the Web and FM airwaves, beginning in an era that pre-dated iTunes, Spotify, or Beatport. He began DJing in 1989 on WPSA-FM at Paul Smith's College, New York, and continued FM broadcast in Texas during 1991-1993 where he also emerged as a club and rave DJ. Re-locating to Colorado in 1993, E23 has continued to perform across the state, the nation, and internationally as both a DJ and live producer. He archives many of his mixes on Mixcloud, selected original tracks on Soundcloud, and music product on Bandcamp.

Lost Takes is a growing collection of found recordings of my modular synth explorations. Like found field notes from past journies, my memory is hazy of these events, but here they are, proof they happened. 

Stay tuned as I will frequently share what I have found lurking in old sd cards.

Ninepoints is the culmination of a dream I’ve had since a Child. I’ve uprooted myself and moved to the entertainment capital of the world to network and branch out with my music. As a DJ and music producer since 1996, I’ve found a passion for deep melodic and progressive beats, sprinkled with some funky house or breakbeats from time to time  ;) 

I hope you enjoy the sounds and following along the new journey that is Ninepoints.

Shoestring DIsco is Jason Roth. He launched the successful Synthwave and Chillwave @NeonCities project with long time friend and collaborator Chase Dobson.  The project built steam and to date has amassed over 3 million streams on Spotify.  His next move was a dark and experimental album under his @Crowdrock moniker. But alas, Jason is now ready to dive into his Shoestring Disco alias, aptly named after his first disco-ball that holds together with lots of epoxy and, well…a shoestring.  For Jason, the ethos is there, in that object, put what you can together, and hold it there, do it yourself, and do it with a simple, naked, honest, love of the craft.
