Sounds like somebody was shot! But the track goes on...

For some reason I'm reminded of the Conet Project recordings here. There is something unsettling about this track—as if we're hearing events frozen in time. I appreciate this "remix" quite a bit.

Este tema instrumental lo compuse hace un tiempito atrás. En principio se llamó: "Todo lo maravilloso que podríamos ser" pero finalmente quedó:  "En armonía y paz". La intención del tema es referirse a lo distinto  que sería el sistema de vida o el orden establecido en el que hemos "convenido", voluntaria o involuntariamente, los seres humanos vivir;  si cada uno de nosotros tratara de ocupar más tiempo en encontrar la paz y la armonía en sí mismo...

Cyst and Decease

My rework of the track Tides, by Marco Lucchi. Digital treatments on the original track were made with Gleetchlab in one take. Few ebowed guitar notes, 7 words by Sylvia Plath, a long exposition image of the sea of my childhood, because in the end "the heart shuts, the sea slides back". And the tide is the tide in me.

The piece consists of long periods of silence; twice, a note occurs, indicating the presence, the being there of the piece - the structure is:

7 bars of silence - two bars of E -7 bars of silence, two bars of E - silence until the performer decides to stop.

The sonic ambience (tape hiss or surrounding noises) may occur as given in that moment of performance.
