Japanese psy trance samurai of sound CYLON returns to London label Free-Spirit Records, getting back in the studio with his KEEWL wingman, FSR boss JOURNEYOM, to produce this absolute twister of a track. As you’d expect from these two masters of mayhem, it’s double trouble all the way with their signature driving baselines and euphoric melodies exploding to create a seven-minute celebration of everything psychedelic and good in this world.

From the first cheeky sample and the bass dropping, you won’t be able to stop dancing to this mind-blasting foot-stomping hip-shaking aural odyssey – and neither will any psy trance dancefloor. When we first heard the news that Killerwatts (Tristan & Avalon) were teaming up with the amazingly talented Hang drummers of 'Hang Massive' we got immediately excited.  Pairing the angelic sounds of Hang drums played to such perfection by world famous musicians with the gigantic energy of Killerwatts was sure to be interesting.. and it is! 

Opening with spoken word setting the healing vibrational intention of the track, 'Is it Real' then launches into a fast-moving shamanic journey filled with ancestral sounds, psychedelic throbbing and the harmonics of the Hang drums drifting effortlessly between it all.

CYLON is the Psychedelic Trance project of Takeo Namiki based on Japan.
His experience as a main guitar player from Heavy Metal/Hard Core/Funk/Loud Rock give him insights on his productions.
One day, he realized “I need to seek a musical platform which is a common style for all the humanity on our mother earth”. And then, he finally met and fell in love with this kind of dance music called psychedelic trance! It also seemed like there needed to be some more groovy sounds like funk music put into this kind of psychedelic music. So, he made a decision that “I’ll be with this scene till I die”.
The humanoid CYLON was born in 2011 for spreading out his DNA around the world.
He produces cutting-edge Progressive Dance tracks which combines the sound from Analog to Digital and Real Band music to the electronical cyber sound which will take you to the next level of the journey.
He has played on the main stage of mammoth festivals like Boom, Origin, Rezonance & Ozora, and always wants the audience to understand who they are, realize the energy they are emitting, and to find the balance to live harmoniously with other beautiful souls around them. 
Meanwhile, Californian eyewear brand “Black Flys” has been supporting CYLON as a part of the Fly Family since 2019. 
“Psychedelic, Dance, Groovy, Fractal and Life”. These five words describe the CYLON sound.
