The Universe

Wilt Ahwa (wild waters) is ancient German name for Czech national river, Vltava. I live my whole life next to it and this is my little tribute to the river. From the little streams in the depths of Bohemian forest, through the vales of medieval Southern Bohemia, into the capital of Prague, the Heart of medieval Europe, the City of the Kings - my home. After years of playing the piano, I was on a family bushwalk with a nature guide. When we had tea around the fire, he pulled out his acoustic guitar & we sang songs. That was the final push to get me to learn the six stringed instrument as well, because it was so portable & could be used anywhere with a minimum of fuss. That was a quite a few years ago now, but it has given me another medium to compose on. This tune "Natur" is born out of the noodling I do out on the verandah of my house, then I added all the strings & Rhodes electric piano afterwards, to ramp up the emotion.
