Rich Wakley definitely has electronic music in his blood. An ever present on the house and techno scene in various guises over the last fifteen years, he looks ahead to 2015 with major excitement. 

Across his journey Rich has played and produced a wide spectrum of music taking in the deeper, techier sounds right through to peak time techno. It is this legacy that sees him arrive at his current sound; a mix of solid beats and infectious grooves that is receiving plaudits the world over.

Whether it’s topping the Beatport charts, releasing on labels like Hot Creations or blasting out sets all over the world Rich’s energy is there for all to see. As a DJ, Rich has played many of the world’s leading venues such as; Tresor, Space in Ibiza, Pacha in Buenos Aires, Ultra in Miami and The Ministry of Sound in London. He is also no stranger to the big festival stages having graced Burning Man, Sonar, Kazantip, Hyperspace and Exit festivals. 

As a producer and label manager, he has crafted many chart topping hits, received continual BBC Radio 1 airplay and helping to launch a multitude of careers. With releases on OFF, Roush, Definition, Mile End and Resonance coming up in next few months, as well as remixes by Darius Syrossian and Jamie Trench his creative output is going to be as high as ever.

With another chapter about to be written in Rich’s musical biography we can certainly keep a close eye as this year promises to be another cracker!

Born in 1980 and raised in the Detroit area, Luke Hess has harnessed a deep appreciation for electronic music and the expression of the underground movement. 

His background in mathematics and engineering has given him a scientific approach to the dance floor, using frequencies, tones, and soundscapes to transform surroundings and mood. 
In 2003 he recorded his first promotional mix CD release for UR/Submerge. Since then, his faith based music production has landed him a seat with FXHE and Planet-e in Detroit. 

His debut album was released in early May 2009 by Denmark based label Echocord. 
In 2010 he began his own interpretation of Detroit techno with his new Detroit project and record label - DeepLabs. 

His sophomore album “Keep On” was released on FXHE records in 2012 and received a Recommended 4.5/5 rating on Resident Advisor. 

Hess is regarded as a perfectionist in his live sets and behind the decks layering his tracks in a very detailed and hypnotic manner. 
He has played at notable venues and events such as Tresor (Berlin), Culture Box (Copenhagen), Berghain (Berlin), Unit (Tokyo), Detroit Electronic Music Festival (Detroit), Fabric (London), The End Up (San Francisco), Golden Pudel (Hamburg), Sirup (Zagreb), Weekend Club (Berlin), Cubic Club (Madrid), Space (Ibiza), The Bunker (NYC) and many other venues all over the world. 

Luke’s continued hard work in the studio and in his performances combined with his unyielding interest in technology and sound will no doubt stimulate the boundaries of electronic music.

JOVONN 

A native of Brooklyn and current resident of Queens (New York), Jovonn has been active in the music scene since the age of 10. Supported by his mother, a keyboard player; and father, a guitar/bass player, who were aspiring R&B singers; he was nurtured with a solid musical foundation. Jovonn began his career as a Hip-Hop DJ at the age of 14 and started spinning records at those infamous New York block parties of the 80s where he was introduced to the growing New York House music scene, hanging out in seminal Brooklyn clubs such as Sapphires, Club Saturn and Club Serene. Year’s later clubs such as The Loft, The Choice, Snobbusters and Zanzibar solidified his full commitment to House music.

Jovonn exploded onto the house scene in 1991 with his second release, “Turn and Runaway” on Warner Bros. Records, which reached number 10 on the Billboard chart and catapulted Jovonn on to the global scene. In addition to being an internationally renowned producer and club DJ, as well as a singer, songwriter and musician, Jovonn, founded his first record label, Goldtone Records, in the early 1990’s via Emotive Records. Since then Jovonn has produced more than 200 records in the House, R&B, Hip-Hop and Neosoul genres, not to mention film scores and soundtracks. But it needs to be said that his true love has always been House music.

Carolyn Harding), "Djoon" (on UK Basic), "Praise" (on WestEnd Records), "Dont Waste Your Time" (feat. Stephanie Cook), "The Spirit" album (on Track Mode), the "Blaque House" album on Code Red as well as famous underground classics such as "Back In the Dark", "Garage Shelter", "I Can't Make Up My Mind", "I Wanna Go To A Club", that all contain Jovonn's distinctive vocal delivery and trademark production with his gritty sounds, hard kicks, jazzy chords and phat basslines.

His latest Dance record label ventures, NextMoov Records and NextMoov Traxx, are dedicated to releasing the hottest deep and raw underground house tracks from Jovonn and his crew of producers and vocalists. Look out for new releases on NextMoov and NextMoov Traxx and not to mention brand new original Jovonn productions and remixes on a whole host of the world’s best house labels.

Founded in April 2010 by EMG and John Swing, Relative is LiveJam Records sister label.
Based between Berlin and London, the label focuses to release exclusively EPs by John Swing EMG and their project together as Vinalog.
Going through old school house cuts to more techno and experimental sounds, Relative strictly follows the LiveJam approach to the production of music: live jams recorded through analog gear directly to tape and cut exclusively to vinyl.
