Nominated at the 2015 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and celebrated by The Telegraph as “one of Britain’s top folk musicians” Ange Hardy has grabbed the attention of the traditional folk music world by writing new material and embracing modern technologies whilst maintaining a traditional feel.

Alongside a staggering list of other accolades Ange was awarded FATEA Magazine’s “Female Vocalist of the Year” in 2013, “Album of the Year” in 2014 and “The Tradition Award” in 2015.

As a solo artist Ange performs with a 27-string Salvi Harp, three different guitars, a variety of low whistles, a bodhrán drum, a tambourine, and an Indian shruti box. Combined with her innovative and subtle use of live looping to build layers up vocal harmonies she’s one of the most diverse solo-artists you're likely to encounter.

In 2016 Ange is touring as a duo with Lukas Drinkwater who brings double bass, backing vocals, another guitar and a bold new dynamic to the stage.

From Hull to Argentina to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Steve Dagleish's life has been one full of beautiful encounters and magical adventures. His worldly experiences have culminated in glorious music that he brings to life with his melodious vocals and his chocolate guitar.

Touching lyrics, intelligent observations, good humour and an innate sense of mischief made this two hour show one of laughter, sweet provocation and musical enlightenment.

This popular singer/songwriter has a kindness of the soul, a twinkling of the eye and a wisdom that makes him one of the folk scene's most sparkling of characters.

This is the collaborative music page for Debs McCoy and Steve McNamara.

The pair create their own solo music as well as having played in various bands.  Steve currently plays with the band 'Formes.'  Debs has recently got Steve Calder of 'The Lake Poets' on board playing slide guitar, banjo and harmonica for her solo work.

The collaboration of McCoy & McNamara came from the pair meeting via Tom Robinson's 'Fresh On The Net.' Both have been selected in recent months for the Fresh Favourites on Fresh On The Net as well as receiving multiple radio plays on the BBC and other UK and international radio stations.  

The appreciation for each others music led the pair to begin work on collaborative pieces.  This page reflects those works.
