16 Fragments is a collection of short instrumentals from different genres—many of them were background tracks for our music survey campaign. Most of these were made years ago, left unfinished, and later given a little touch-up. Even though they’re short, each one holds a special place in my musical journey. I’m releasing them as they are because they represent an important part of my growth. Hopefully, they’ll bring some enjoyment to you, just as they did for me while making them.

I'm a composer, working from a 3' x 5' studio (some may call it a dinette) in a 5th wheel camper, while traveling the United States. I've been on the road for six years, so most of my recent work will have come from a different state (of mind and location) during my travels.

Music makes me feel better about everything. I don't know that I'm ever happier than when I am creating. I sometimes wonder if creativity isn't one of the primary keys to happiness. Do you ever feel better than when you say, "Look what I did."? This phrase magically conjures the purest sense of childlike joy.

Music works for every part of our lives. We all have music for when we are sad, happy, celebrating, meeting others, when we are alone, and even when we are lonely. Did a song come to mind as you read each of those situations? I remember the first song I ever heard on the radio, on my first bus ride to kindergarten. One of my favorite musical memories is playing in a band for steel beach on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz.

I love telling stories with music. Everybody loves John Coffey in the Green Mile, but Mr. Jingles should have a song commemorating his reaching and joining the circus at Mouseville. What can I tell you about my life? I am dating Carlos Bergmann and in a while we are going to get married and we share a lot of music together and in fact we compose music together! For my taste as a woman, Carlos Bergmann is the dream of my life! I'm happy with life and to tell the truth, Carlos, my boyfriend, has a great recording studio and I take advantage of it to compose my own songs and well, that's all! Any questions you want to know? ok I answer!

I record the instruments, vocals and edit the tracks myself.
I use an acoustic guitar, electric keyboard and make up drumbeats on the acoustic guitar.

I quit my secondary job not long ago, so i guess this is my secondary job now. (?)

I'm an independent musician exploring different genres and styles that resonate with me. I play drums, guitar, bass and keyboards, and I’m always looking to grow.

These days I focus on the Lofi - Chillhop style. Not constantly, but I try to push its boundaries a bit, e.g. with unconventional time signatures (7/8, 5/4, etc.).

My philosophy in music is simple:
If we don’t lift each other up, who will? The industry won’t. So let’s support and inspire one another. If you have the power to help, use it—otherwise, what’s the point?

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
