For the second year I have congratulated Christmas to practically all the people I follow in SC.

They are distributed in many different parts of the world.

Some answer me and trust me with a problem.... who doesn't have them!!!, right??? There are those who live in a war, others suffer harassment or loneliness, others have problems with the economy, work, or have had deep disappointments.

These people deserve the greatest respect and my best affection.

I can't help you from here except with this advice that is part of my philosophy of life: have faith. Faith in your belief, faith in the capricious and changeable fate or in yourself. Faith is necessary because without it it becomes more impossible to overcome difficulties.

My best wishes to all of you.

This song is a tribute to beautiful lives cut short. Back in November 2022 last year three University of Virginia football players were shot and killed by a former teammate as they returned from a trip to see a play in Washington DC. It happens all too often in this country. These three were outstanding young men much loved and mourned by the community.

it's been a dilemna to choose wether or not I would publish that track:
1. After hours and hours of work on mastering to remove the huge amount of noises on that old tape recording , it was only half a success...
2. I love this song!... despite its not perfect sound

Haunted by the prospect of being accused of cultural appropriation,i must haste to point out a few argumants to my defence. Firtsly i will never make any money on this song,nor did i compose it for such a reason. Secondly i have the deepest respect for all native american tribes,their traditions and connection to nature and the spirit within.Had their culture prevailed the onslaught of western values we might still live on a planet untouched by human made climate change,industrial pollution and the specter of nuclear annihilation hanging over all our paranoid heads.Its such a paradox that western culture has brought us both human rights and a severe disconnect from nature,including our own nature within. 
Thirdly i have allways had a fascination for chanting of various ethnic origin,wether from native american tribes,or some buddhist monks chanting mantras.As an inborn eclectic i borrrow elements from wherever i find them and merge them into my mold of funk,jazz,pop,rock,elctronica and you name it.
But its all done with the utmost respect from my part,so if anyone should feel exploited i ensure you it was never my intention.
Most of the chanting within this song is from The Hopi nation,and the striking image to accompany the song is a cave painting of the ANT PEOPLE as described by the Hopi themselves. Oh..and the spoken words are from using a TEXT TO SPEECH online app.(Never done that before.)

I have a special relation with this piece, it's the first piece of music I ever composed at the age of 15. I felt for the first time the unexpected thrill that musical creation can give, since then it has been the only spark of infinity inside everyday life.

More recently Ce Mastro https://soundcloud.com/cemastro added some exciting backing vocals which transformed the chorus and then even more recently we invited Dave McKeown https://soundcloud.com/dave-mckeown to contribute some lovely sax that we believed was just what the song needed. Rodolfo's song has such a feeling of romantic innocence yet with a wonderful rhythmic flow, that I hoped the words might feel from a simpler time. We hope you all enjoy our song of innocence (and inexperience) which thankfully is a work of fiction. Thanks again to Rodolfo for sharing this magical piece and his great skills as well as Ce and Dave's unique gifts to make this one happen.
